Number 191 reporting for duty!! :D

Just paid £80 (monthly payment plus a few extra quid).

Have now hit 40% yay!! :T :j  :D DH has possibly got an extra freelance job so I'm hoping to spend most of that money on paying a bit more off. Have said DH can buy a gas BBQ and we will put £100 away to take DD to Legoland or something in the holidays. Maybe a little bit in the ISA for the Summer 'slowdown' jobs wise for DH and then the rest for the card to eat! ;)

  • #128 £700 - target achieved!!

    Hello All!
    Favourite day of the month...payday!
Just paid the last remaining £200 off the CC. Can't believe at one point it was 5k.
Also now have reached my target of £5000 paid off - so target reached. Yay!

But not debt free yet....have still got 2 loans to go. So can i reset my target to 5k again please?

    Thank you
    TF xxx

Another bumper payday for me today. 26 hours overtime from last month. Nice !! I did spend £44.85 on my tesco card to keep me afloat this month and I've realised I've not added all my interest on from the Barclaycard every month. Now I have just £675 left on MBNA with 0% so I have adjusted my totals at the bottom.

I have paid £301.91 off my Barclaycard and that is now at £0 :j

I have paid £44.85 off my Tesco card to take that back to £0 :j

I have paid £25 minimum payment on the MBNA card, total stands at £675 :T

  • Woohoo starnac and mat_lock.. This thread is about positivity and today im feeling more positive than ever...

Did some work about 3-4 weeks ago - took a (educated) gamble with the last £60 I didnt have on marketing, so I borowed it from the paypal clearing cycle knowing it would add pressure to me but willing to take the chance of it paying off in 8-12 weeks... and as of today im on the top of page 2 for one of the keyword, middle of page 1 and top of page 2 (2 different sites run by us) for another keyword, and have 2 listings on page 2 (2 different sites run by us again), all these are industry leading keywords for what we do, and our adwords budget for these 3 keywords to be top of page is £80 per day and we spend that daily!!

I dont want to say what the keywords are, as im sure many of you on here use the products we sell, and wouldnt want to either explicity break forum etiquette by advertising my business or either blowing the anonymosity this gives me and break trust from potential customers (despite me knowing I have never ripped anybody off and have sent goods out before buying food!)

    #174 Ahoy Shipmates!

It has been a rough few days at Sea I can tell you but we have safely docked and been paid.

I have updated my Signature below but here are the figures that matter: £6503 / £27,890

Been a costly month for me but have battled the temptations to spend. I can now start to really see progress and would like to thank everybody on this thread as I often read it late at night before bed. It can be strange at sea but this seems to keep my focus.

Not long until I can take my debt below 20k and that will be a real nice day. Have a good Bank Holiday weekend, going to be a few drunken Sailors!

woooo time for a well earned break from work! so far we have a day trip to the seaside (cheapish - just lunch and car park to pay for as we always bring own drinks) and the cinema (£12) lined up lol! i am also going to go and see my friend one morning, and then another day we are going to town to try the new tea shop (i hope it would cost no more than £5!). i have my car mot and service this week so hopefully it won't be too expensive :(
