Hello All!
Favourite day of the month...payday!
Just paid the last remaining £200 off the CC. Can't believe at one point it was 5k.
Also now have reached my target of £5000 paid off - so target reached. Yay!
But not debt free yet....have still got 2 loans to go. So can i reset my target to 5k again please?
Thank you
TF xxx
Thrifty - two ways to do this. I either give you a debt free roll of honour for reaching target, and assign you a new number to start again, or I can increase your target as #128 to £10,000? Which do you prefer?FinanciallyUnsavvy wrote: »As of today... my overdraft is 100% paid off! :j :j :j

I have been actively avoiding this thread as I have been doing badly especially with credit card debt. But I had a look at the honour roll today and seeing that some people have done so well is very motivating and impressive. i will wor out my new total over the next few days when all direct debits have gone out.
Well done everyone who has stuck with this challenge.
I'm a bit guilty of doing this on diet threads or the like... But avoiding it only makes things worse. Pop by, tell yourself off if you wish, and then draw a line under it and move on. It leads to so much less stress!I'm a bad bad man !!
I bought a new TV on Saturday. Been umming and arring for months about it and with the World Cup next month I just couldn't face watching it on a piddly old 32" tv. So I upgraded to a 55" Sony. It's a monster and I love it.
I will update my new totals when the payments have been made and I've got it transferred over to my 0% card.
:rotfl::rotfl: Oh dear... Have to say, I'm not one for a massive TV, but I do envy the features on newer models.0 -
Well I'm back from my slightly extended long weekend, and absolutely appalled at my bank balance! I've really let go of things with the old budgeting in April and May. Pay day on Friday, and I'm ready to re-dedicate myself! Especially now I have a holiday to save for...
Went to see Wicked with a friend last night (paid for in December) - it was absolutely amazing! Thoroughly recommended(If you like musicals)

Annoyingly there is still not all of the apps on this TV compared to the top Samsung ranges.
It has iplayer, netflix, 5 on demand and a tonne of other apps but no 4OD and ITV Player. Samsung have a contract for all that apparently.
Not such a problem because the TV has internet access but it's more time spent rather than just a quick app on the menu.
I still have the HTPC and the PS3 underneath the TV too so I am not short of options haha
This TV was my reward for both of us actually saving £1200 to go on holiday with my girlfriend and the fact that since January I cleared almost £2k of debt. I know now I can clear all this by Xmas and I will succeed too.0 -
#101 checking in...feels like it's been a long time. It's been a hard month due to a holiday at beginning of month (had been booked for some time) and another small payment of £40 just paid off bringing total to £1502.85/2500.00#4 DFBXMAS24 - £2,322.85/£5,000
