Another £25 to the Bank of Mum this morning, making the total:

Payday Thursday! Its a tricky month coming up as I've gone right into my Barclays overdraft to help pay for a weekend away and now I have to pay it all back before their overdraft charges increase on June 16th. Luckily its only a £200 limit but will have to cut back on the socializing budget this month!
Am aiming for 10 NSD to help me along, should be doableStarting 2016 debt-free

I have been actively avoiding this thread as I have been doing badly especially with credit card debt. But I had a look at the honour roll today and seeing that some people have done so well is very motivating and impressive. i will wor out my new total over the next few days when all direct debits have gone out.
Well done everyone who has stuck with this challenge.🎄PAYDBXMAS21 #11 £11,300/£11300

I'm a bad bad man !!
I bought a new TV on Saturday. Been umming and arring for months about it and with the World Cup next month I just couldn't face watching it on a piddly old 32" tv. So I upgraded to a 55" Sony. It's a monster and I love it.
I will update my new totals when the payments have been made and I've got it transferred over to my 0% card.
I still aim to be debt free by Xmas. Still on schedule !0 -

tut tut tut such a bad man...
I run a 42" TV which is perfectly adequate for our needs, id love a bigger TV but it wont fit on the wall :rotfl:
I'm struggling again, its mortgage week and ive done the calculations today, if we have a week like last week we will have about £3 left in the bank on friday as long as we have food in the cupboards to last until then, had some job lots end last night which brought in the money for the stock I needed today so the rest of the weekends sales are just left in my bank.
This debt is really starting to strain on me personally and truly irritate me, i wake up thinking about it, think about ways to get it paid off all day and go to sleep thinking about it.
Prime example was at the weekend we went to a annual family bbq, when I was told when it was my first thoughts werent - yeah cant wait to see them all again - it was thats 3 meals I dont have to pay for this month
After my mortgage, Ive got £1768.57 of debts which I consider to be a priority, this is money I owe for marketing and its stopping me pushing my business as aggressively as I need to to ensure I can pay the next 16k off before christmas, meaning im taking a touch over £100 per day (with enough profit to eek out an existance and just about pay bills) rather than £300+ per day and running flat out... I am basically drowning in my poison debts and need to do something to get out of this situation..I know in my heart this is not forever but am being frustrated by this noose around my neck!
sorry to rant on here again, its either that or lose my temper here, i got myself into this mess and I will get out of it£4142.49/ £131,795.91 - 3.14% paid off or only £129,608.80 to go!

Strangely, taking away a 32" and a corner tv stand and putting a 55" with a wider but thinner flat tv stand makes the living room much more spacier !0

Shhh! Don't tell my DH that!! :rotfl: we've actually got a very small TV that we use for DVDs (we don't have a TV licence) and DH would love a big TV. He's got a big birthday at the end of the year so I've been SB-ing like mad to save up amaz0n vouchers so that I can buy him one of those smart TV things so we can get the internet on it or something? Anyway I'm hoping to have enough vouchers that I don't need to add too much cash to the purchase nearer his birthday :money:
Update from me too. DH worked some overtime and gave me the extra money to pay off the loan. Total paid off now

There were cheaper screens with pretty much the same quality but this one has more features and it just seemed to be calling out my name.
I work in retail so I managed to save 6% by buying several £100 evouchers and I got it reserve & collected through Quidco so that said it would track at 5% so I did my bargain hunting work !!0 -
