    Hi there

    I hope you're all well.

I've decided that I need to rethink my priorities and focus on different bills. I need to be realistic and know that I'm not really going to manage paying off the £11,900 I originally wanted to at the beginning of the year. My circumstances have changed and I'm not on the same road as I was a matter of weeks ago. Some of the bills I wanted to clear this year are to my folks, as much as they would like the money back, they don't want me stressed out and worried all the time. I can pay them back as and when possible.
Therefore, I would like to change my payment aim total if possible please? It was £11,900 and I would like to change it to £7,365 please. I would like to keep the total of payments already made the same as I have made the payments and have removed one large bill payment but have added another.
I hope this all makes sense.
    Thank you.
I will update my signature too.

i am in the same boat, i will not manage to pay off ALL my debt by christmas. howeve,r i would still like to pay off £6,000 as it is £6,000 closer to being debt free! :j

    Hi all :)
I finally got the funds released from some of the things I have been selling online, and have transferred those to the credit card today.

I am working in Middlesbrough for the next couple of weeks, and although the work is busy there's not much to do in the evenings here. The only place which is in walking distance is a big asda supermarket, so I often end up going there for a walk, and spending money on things I don't need.. like chocolates and snacks, which aren't good for my diet either.

So, to avoid excessive spending, I have decided to pay the remainder of the credit card bill and live on what is left until payday comes around again.

When the payment goes through which should hopefully be overnight tonight, I will have cleared my credit card bill and be debt free!

to right - with the correct attitude you will pay it off in no time, this is where 90% of people go wrong, they just pay the minimum and enjoy life now with whats left, we tok a small step today by starting to cut back and shop at Aldi, still to work out if its cheaper as some of the little luxuries we likethat were not yet willing to give up cant be got there (the bacon at the morrisons counter is so thick and gorgeous, the deli meat at morrisons and there cheap box of wine is undeniable (think its 12.59 for a 2.25L box)

We justify it to ourselves as treats - One thing I must admit im a bit of a stickler for is good food, at 18/19 stone im not a small man, could do with losing a few lbs and a new office chair. but theres nothing better than my monthly Bacon butty, the bacon costs the same for 6 rashers as 12 rashers of prepack but its taste is so much nicer!

For my sandwiches - most of the time we have that watered down wafer thin stuff, but a couple of times a week I get real pork or ham (no stuffing or anything) and Mrs NLID knows when I need that pick me up (im still working now at 7 minutes past midnight, and will probably finish around 3am and started at 9am this morning with a couple hours off in the day to play with DS and regular breaks to look aroudn the web (here mostly today learning how to get Debt Free!)

So say ive worked 15 hours today, I did the same tuesday/weds/thurs/fri this week, I worked sunday and monday night 7pm-3am, so this week ive done 72 hours working on pushing our business - all for less than minimum wage to try and bring the good times - I cant resist a few small treats and saturday is our day which we spend completely away from anything work related and enjoy a few glasses of wine and husband and wife time watching a film :D

my life can be very boring, working lots of hours but my weekends are my family time and my relax time until 7pm sunday night when its back to the grind :o
