Hi birdseed, sorry if I sound daft but what's a save the change account that you have linked to your bank account please?

    Hi Ali

My bank (T S B) offer this with my account. When I use my debit card they round up the money spent to the nearest pound, which then goes into one of my saving accounts before I pay it off my debt. I usually wait for it to accumulate to £10 before I transfer it back out to a bill.

I don't know if other banks offer this service but I suppose you could do it manually if you were inclined to do so?

Will be getting an extra days work this week... was expecting to have one off due to job interviews being held (for the job I'm currently doing... I have applied so was kinda hoping I'd get one)

Pretty sure theyve been delayed as they are not on staff bulletin and they only closed the apps before the long weekend. SIGH.

Oh well, just applied for my dream job too (where I trained...) so hopefully if my current job fizzles out I'll have another opportunity!

But yey for an extra day as I was going to be cutting it fine with my car insurance!

It has been a very quiet month on the payments front but it is pay day again:j:j
2 payments made this morning before direct debits come out on Monday:D
I'm hoping I can make the 3k mark this month so fingers crossed.

  • This month has been devastating here, quietest month ever and not enough money to pay the advertising for next month meaning next month will be poor to :(

I have managed to mediate thorugh the court service a £50 reduction for the legal fees of our water rates if paid within 14 days, bringing it down to £268.36 to pay rather than £318.36.

We will make the payment in 14 days even if me and my wife have to starve and only feed our DS
