Hi There, I am a LOOOOOOOOOOOOONG-time Lurker on this Thread....have never Posted but I have laughed and cried along with all of you....
I am finally in a Position to be able to have a Plan for this Year to pay off some Significant (to me) Debt....
It won't be ALL of it...and I hope that's okay.....But my entire Debt is a LOT and too much to hope to pay off this Year....I don't earn very much but I would like to have a Plan to pay off some decent Debt and particularly want to get rid of my Student Loans which have been there since 1999 (yes I know I don't HAVE to pay them off but as far as I'm concerned it is MY Debt and needs to be paid off)....
A bit about me - I'm 36, currently in my Final Year of Training to be a Psychotherapist and once I've Qualified then I should be in a MUCH better financial Position (I hope!!)....
Sooooo....The Total Debt that I want to Pay off is £1969.73
I won't be paying it off in huge amounts but EVERY little bit helps...
I hope that's okay and hope it's okay to Join....
Thank you very much....0 -

Ooo it's always nice when lurkers come out to say hello! You're welcome to join, and I won't mind of you're not paying everything this year either. Will need to get you a number later, I've just popped in on the tablet to say hello!
We got an inflation based pay rise today woop woop :j I'm around £60 a month better off between this and the tax rise. Still no word on my actual, performance/promotion based pay rise (getting very annoyed about that now, was told I'm now promoted, but when I chased the confirmation letter today the paperwork is still pending )0 -
May I please join in on this challenge please? I am £1500 in debt and have been trying hard to bring that down. I've been lurking on these forums for a month or so now and have just registered so I can join in as I have made a good start on my debt already and brought it down £500 in one month
