my payments seem really slow this month! anyone else??

I;m actually wondering about making additional payments here and there rather than just saving to pay off the remainder... would need to figure out how I actually do that though as two accounts aren't ones I can just log into online and make additional payments!

Finally managed to make first payment for the O/D of account I switched from. used the incentive money from new account to pay 10% of outstanding balance to old account, so 033 £95.23 from £952.33.
£165.50 in total out of £10180.70

Rest of month will be hard as switched phone and energy so two lots of each to come out this month.

  • Hi everyone

    A quick update from me...

    Hurrah! Onwards and upwards... :j

Clearly not massive progress, but it's kinda encouraging to see some inroads into the debt mountain

I'm off to play with my spending diary - feeling that I need a spreadsheet to monitor log my progress & define exactly where my pennies get frittered away

    Will report back again soon

    Chin up everyone!

    Paid of £101 today.
Still not getting the instant e mails Mini -Cooper. I've fiddled with everything I press instant and it lasts for about a week and then I don't get them anymore and I'm feeling so so left out. Talking and seeing how well everyone was doing really helped me last time. now I have to keep logging on and it's making it so much harder. So if anyone has any ideas how to fix this please. Still no job but I managed to pick up some teaching English this week which is fab.

I'm afraid I don't know what's wrong. Is there maybe a FAQ bit you can look up? Either that or email for help...

I don't think I transferred out my extra payment this month, and have actually started to eat into it a little bit. This has been such an expensive month one way or another! I'm not going to transfer anything out now, as I'll go overdrawn if I'm not careful!

Amr [ Would it be possible for you to get a second bank account? That way you could work out how much you need to pay off each month and have one account just for bills/ repayments and transfer what's left to the other account to use for everything else. That way you'll know how much you have at the beginning of the month and takes away some of the stress? It's what I do.

#135 paid off a further £7.95 by rounding account to nearest zero.

    £434.42/£11,900 = 3.65%
