I'm "hoping" to be able to buy a new laptop at the end of this month, don't know if I already posted that... but sharing one with OH is getting frustrating and it's probably time I bought one!!! It will be good to buy outright instead of using credit for everything.

Kicking off March with this month's bank loan installment and 2 cc payments (only deducted the NET amount -took next month's projected interest off the actual payment I made). Scrambled the figures a bit in Feb - still not sure where (bank not paying things across on time) but have corrected now.

Some promising things about overtime in a phone call tonight! Shall go to work tomorrow and find out about it :) A full weeks worth so that will be nice.

Started a cross stitch tonight. Had it when I lived on my own, was all ready to start it before things went a bit awry and had to move home. So glad to get on with that, plus will keep me occupied for free on an evening when I'm not at the gym (not that I'm always out partying anyway, but its good to have something to focus on!)
Its a massive pattern though, I forgot how huge it is, a gorgeous pink carousel, very elaborate...

I'm going to frame it ready for my cottage, and the size of it I'll hopefully be in my cottage long before I'm finished!

Am I too late to join?

Not too late at all, will give you a number tomorrow - on my tablet just now and can't view my spreadsheet. How much do you want to pay off?

Sorry minicooper, i've been neglecting my admin helper duties yet again - i've been job hunting and start a new job tomorrow! eek! So nervous as i really want this job to work out, it'd be a good career move. It's more money but turns my 10 min commute to a 30-40min one and has a 42.5 hour working week. Hopefully everybody will be nice to me.

Don't worry about it at all - I've been getting on fine! Good luck with the new job :T I'm really hoping to hear back about a job interview next weekend myself, so hope you're starting a trend!
  • Marlie that cross stitch looks gorgeous - post pics as you go along with it! I've got a bag full of embroidery stuff that I need to crack on with as it's been collecting dust for nearly a year since I swapped jobs and moved house!

32b I got married in Vegas in 2012 :D It's such an amazing place, something for everyone there and we're hoping to go back at some point before having kids!

Into the last stretch of my night shifts and have written a page full of jobs to do tomorrow before I have a sleep in the afternoon - have a feeling this "rest" week could end up being very busy but at least it won't be boring! Opticians & IKEA on Tuesday, Pancake day at my mum's on Weds, Friday Cleopatra @ the ballet and Saturday We Are Scientists gig in Leeds :D

A little payment of £50 to get the month started...hoping to reach the target of £1,000 paid off by the end of this month.

This forum really keeps me motivated and always makes me think before the plastic comes out of my purse... it's been surprising that by having a cash purse for food how much I have reduced my living costs and how much healthier I am eating. So thanks for the support peeps :)

Thank you-I would like to pay off £4000.I'm going to be good and not count what I paid yesterday as technically I didn't join then LOL.I make lots of tiny extra payments, sometimes as low as 99p-do I add them all as soon as I make them or would you prefer once a month?
