Yes - I think I'll do something similar when I buy somewhere. I reckon I'll have a spare room for guests/books/OH's PS4 :rotfl: it's great for me at the moment, gets me out the house and keeps the 'stuff' to a minimum.0 -
Hi all,
Another month has passed where I've not really posted much. Out fence has pretty much disintegrated and we've had a quote of £800+ to replace it (100 foot + both front and back). So thats a bit of a set back
Luckily the fence man is reallly busy to its looking like I have until April to get the money together.
I'm still debtbusting as best I can... I will try to catch up with everyones news and progress soon.:o

Not the best start to March, my poor dog injured her paw today so a visit to the vet was needed. £76 lighter.....she's torn one of her nails and also has mild eczema. So lots of tlc and drugs. Still her welcome homes are worth it alone.
Going to light a fire and let us both snuggle in front of it!
On a better note, my Dad managed to mend 1 of my fence panels so the timber merchants is coming to collect the spare which should refund me £20. That's going to go in the overpayment pot

amr - I started an "emergency fund" at end of Jan (an idea from another web site) thank goodness I did, so far I have used it for fence and now the dog! It's one draw back of being a pet owner, but I wouldn't be without her.2015 £2 Saver #82

Hi,
Sorry I couldn't get to the computer yesterday to post my February total, but I am now at:
#038 £1190 / £4016.44
I am so looking forward to reaching the 30% mark, but struggling to find more money to pay towards it at the moment!
But I am pleased to be almost 30% through the debt, and only 17% through the year. As long as I can keep ahead of the game, even if it's only by a little bit, then I will be okay!

OuchHi all,

I'm really sorry about that - was it caused by the weather lately?

Got about 20 minutes before I need to leave for work so just trying to have a bit of a mooch and watch The Voice! Only good thing about night shifts is that I don't spend any money so this will probably be the first time ever that my wage will make it past payday weekend :rotfl:0 -

Recently my contract ran down and I switched to Giffgaff for £12.
Deal breakdown:

(free Giffgaff to Giffgaff calls *top up required*)
They also use 02 network for signal.
