  • Hello all

Just been catching up on this week's posts and had to chuckle about the car insurance - I have no claims discount that started before some of you were born ie 25 years - it makes me feel really old, but on the plus side my car insurance is very cheap:rotfl:

amr547 - good move to keep your pension going. I had the same thoughts as you 20 years ago wondering whether it was worth it and I'm glad now that I have been paying in for such a long time as the sum I have accrued is getting reasonable now.:)

Penny2myName - think about staying and don't get demotivated - I had to start again financially when my relationship with my partner broke down 7 years ago and it is only in the last 12 months that I have started to pay my debt down - up until then I just kept afloat.:) Sending you good vibes.

Pay day today which is brilliant. I am going to make all my payments tomorrow (anticipated the amounts in my signature to help me part with the money tomorrow, but not yet made any payment because I like the look of the balance in my bank just for one day :rotfl: ).

  • Betsie that's really shocking! Surely they should have been aware of thing like that being a risk! I hope you get the money back, I know what you mean about special money for a special purpose like that.

Angelbob - I'm useless with names too! But thanks :)

Hi Pepperoni - I've put £3000 as your total paid so far, is that right? Or am I jumping the gun a bit!

    32b3 off anywhere nice?

freebiz14 - definitely don't be sad about £467 - I wish I could afford to pay that much! Everyone is different, some months you have more spare than others.

soopa - I looked at selling some old dvds a couple of years ago, found I was getting offered 20p for them on MM, but was offered 50p for them in Cash Convertor. Worth shopping around!
mstrainee 15(.25)% is right, well done :)

Well done for all the pay day payments! I'm just going to hold on to the very end of February to let you know how you've all done!

  • Sitting here waiting for my DH to come back with a McBreakfast as a post night shift treat! Can't believe how quiet the thread has been on payday this month - many people half-terming it do you think?
