  • Hi All :)

No extra gone to debt pot, but have done some things today which I've been meaning to do for years.... its all money that could potentially go into the debt pot once I know how much money my husband will bring home at the end of the month and how much we have left after bills etc are paid for.

    1. Cleared out numerous clothes bags from the garage - sending the majority to 'cash for clothes' (£26.50!) and bagging decent bits to put on eBay gradually.
    2. Put some more items on eBay - have got quite a lot listed on there at the moment!
    3. Counted up money pots that have 1p and 2p - total £11.00!

Husband had to get some new trousers for work and paint to finish our bathroom - both bargains so very happy with him :) £12 for the trousers, £7 for the paint!

got home and there was no gas or electric! arrrrgh. how the heck have we used £50 of gas already, crazy. :( i've put £20 in the electric and £30 in gas, turned off the timer and will just use a hot water bottle cos its not really that cold outside now.
  • Woohoo! Got accepted for a 0% interest card with limit to transfer 4 cards. This will save approx 20% interest.

    Hello allllllllllllllllll!

£300 payment for me, bringing me to:

    #24 £1042/£3500

    Ciao for now ;)
    In debt no more!
  • Well I am very happy today! We had an appt at the bank to review our finances. We were paying about £250 p/m in minimum payments on credit cards and overdrafts. We got approved for a loan to consolidate it all. Monthly term £225 p/m and its flexible so we can over pay much and often as we like for no fee.

I feel like a huge weight has been lifted. Paying all the credit cards and overdrafts off was an amazing feeling and I'm so glad to know that when we pay the money each month it will be reducing the balances and not just paying to keep the balance the same.

We won't be deft free by Xmas but our new mortgage review is in 2 years and we will be then so I'm happy with that.

    Will sleep well tonight :)
    Happy!
