Best: Has to be the Glastonbury tickets as I'd always wanted to go and it was a really great experience that I wouldn't have been able to afford otherwise.

Most disappointing: I also had quite a few issues with a 'certain Christmas' site! I had several issues with the website, one wrong item sent and also really shocking quality items! (really lumpy plastic on the Christmas lights etc...). They were obviously quite a new company and were very polite in all correspondence so I just didn't have the heart to complain. Needless to say I won't be using them again!
Also my problem of a broken gnome from 'The Lady' magazine was never resolved.

I'm thinking your 'certain Christmas site' is the same as my 'certain Christmas site'!!! I used my prize voucher to place my order and received an email a couple of days later to say it was on it's way and here is the tracking number. But then later that day, I received another email from the company saying that they were very sorry because the item I had ordered was no longer in stock!? So I emailed them to ask how they could say it is on it's way then tell me it wasn't available? - no reply. But that same afternoon my item arrived, followed by another email saying my item was on it's way and here is another tracking number? The second item never arrived but I was glad because the first one was such terrible quality and not worth the £25 it was priced at! I assumed it was a new company as I had never heard of it. I never complained to them as I knew they were obviously all in a muddle and I couldn't be bothered!

  • Not many wins but best was definitely the Tesco Finest Indian meal for 8 cooked in your own home. Nitisha who designs tesco ready meals was fab and explained the amazing food as it was served. There was enough food left over to feed another 20 or so people. Included beer, wine, soft drinks and all plates, cutlery, glasses and various serving dishes were left for me. Much more things left than 8 of each too.
Most disappointing was the Wolfred toy as didn't look safe enough to be used as a toy and frankly quite scary.

. I do think a chaise lounge is a good description of you though. Stylish yet comfortable and laid back :)

Best: The two pairs of jeans for £500 at Harrods. Never in my life would I spend that much on jeans! (But, they are the nicest, softest most worn jeans in my wardrobe!)

Worst: A voucher for an online shop, I won £30 and everything on it is £40 and above. *sigh*
December Wins: £300 worth of board games, £500 Tesco Vouchers Best Win in 2023: £500 Tesco Vouchers
  • Best- mini iPad
Worst- a 2012 (it's 2013) iPad case which was clearly old stock but that's ok until they tried to charge expensive postage on it, in other words selling off old stock while pretending it's a prize. I also won golf tickets which turned out to be free and they weren't even able to give them away! My other disappointment is not the worst just disappointing, I won a fancy dress voucher and used it only to find the quality really poor and sizing wrong etc
Best wins in 2013 £200 and Mini iPad. 2014 no wins. 2015 2 nights 5* hotel with £300 vouchers plus £1150 Harrods gift card

My best win by far was £4000 Real deal win which couldn't have come at a better time ! :o

My most disappointing win - my Grans recipe and picture been published in a book for Anchor Butter and Asda (which in my dad's eyes could have rivalled my best win), but 6 months down the line, no communication from them, ignoring my emails and still no further with it :o(

That is awful - I would have expected better from big companies like Asda and Lurpak! I bet your gran's recipe is wonderful :)

  • 2013 has probably been the worst ever year for me comping wise :( however my best win was a TW Steel watch from a Facebook competition. Hubby loves it.

Most disappointed was two wins on two consecutive weeks one for £15 and one for £25 to spend on personalised gifts. Looking at the website there is nothing I would buy for me or friends or family (all football/sport related). I even asked at wok if anyone wanted to buy anything before Christmas for a pressie for someone and nobody has taken me up on it.

  • My best was tickets to the premiere of Alpha Papa in Norwich. Maybe not everyone's idea of a great win, but we are huge fans and the memories of the day will stay with me for a lifetime.

My worst should have been one of the best. I won a leather bag and gloves, which after several months of chasing, was told were no longer available. I was sent a cheap nylon bag festooned with advertising for a second rate film as a replacement!
To err is human, but to really mess things up you need a computer.
