My best...a cheque for £1700!
My worst...I won a £25 voucher to spend at a certain Christmas site and ordered a little Christmas cottage that lit up. Well, when it arrived I was very disappointed with the quality (certainly NOT worth £25!). It looked so cheap and the plastic was cracking and detail and paintwork looked like it had been done by a 3 year old at Nursery! If I hadn't won the voucher I would have sent it back and demanded my money back. I actually put it back in the box and handed it in to a charity shop as didn't even want it on display in my home! It looked nothing like the photo on site!

I agree Sarah - all wins are a blessing - I have changed the thread title from Best/worst to include 'most disappointing' win of 2013' :j:TA big thanks to all who post and sprinkling lucky dust to all who enter :smileyhea0 -
My best prize was a gas barbeque that we won at the end of summer and have not yet had a chance to use.
My most disappointing was when I received a book as a runner up prize and was thinking I had won first prize, which would have been a nice hamper. It is a book that I will not read and so will probably be given to the charity shop.0 -
My best has to be my I Pad as it is soooo useful and quick.
Nothing really disappointing, the vauxhall corsa golf ball is a bit naff especially as we don't have a Vauxhall.0 -
I think the worst prize I've won this year was a fluffy hat thing from WKD, it was a mystery prize from their facebook page. It's truely hideous, bright orange and really badly made, I couldn't bring myself to take it to the local charity shop, I would've been too embarassed and they probably would have chucked it straight in the bin, so I saved them the bother and did that myself.
The best prize I won was an all expenses paid trip to London from Nivea/Grazia.0 -
the best was either my £250 shopping vouchers or my holiday.
the worst was CD by a couple of blokes off one of the "talent" shows, it almost hurts the ears it's so badproud gran to 4 lovely boys and one little girl0 -
My best is a Harley Davidson (which I am not going to receive for several weeks yet).
and my worse is probably the same as independance - the Vauxhall Corsa Antenna Ball (which my cats now have as a toy) - such a random prize and I have no recollection of entering for it either!:T*Thanks to all who posts comps * :j0 -
The best was a Pashley bicycle, the worst was a motorbike training day!0

Best - Nokia Lumia 920 - in January and Sony Xperia Z1 in December - lovely way to bookend the year
Disappointing - a book about the history of potatoes which I don't remember enteringYou'll have to speak up; I'm wearing a towel0 -
Best win this year was a VIP trip to Alton Towers - chauffeur driven car from our house to AT, night in the hotel and £400 spending money - we had an amazing time!
(Although if it counts, I won a trip to Disneyland in Dec 2012 which we went on in Sept 2013 and that was amazing!)
Most disappointing in a way was a big canvas map I won in March, I chose a map of Europe so my daughter could see where we'd been on holidays etc - it took THREE MONTHS of chasing up to finally arrive, and when it did it was a map of China instead of Europe. They did offer to swap it, but as it had taken so long to arrive in the first place I didn't want to wait another three months to swap, so kept it and it went to a friend who used to live in China (so not that disappointing as it went to a good home, but a big frustrating that it was so much effort to get it and then it wasn't what we asked for!)
Hope everyone has had a lovely christmas - and best of luck for 2014!Best of 2011: London Trip,Hot Air Balloon,£1660, phone,Kindle,Trip to Lapland! Total 2011 wins: £6865
Best of 2012: Trip to Disneyland Paris, £1665 cash/vouchers, trip to Harrogate, trip to Birmingham, £230 vacuum, 2 x mobile phones, Olympics tickets! Total 2012 wins: £66240
