Freespirit that is one of the things that he said to me that I cleaned rooms that they don't go in!!!!!! I feel great when the house is immaculate and I can sit down. Mind you when they go it is back to normal. It is like when you take ages to make a meal and it is gone in minutes!!!!!!

I'll give you a laugh with something that my Auntie said after she had got a new widescreen television:

"I like my new tv as I can see more people on Eastenders". :rotfl:

She didn't seem to realise that it is the same amount of people on the screen but just a little bit wider because the picture has been stretched.
A good life is when you assume nothing, do more, need less, smile often, dream big, laugh a lot, and realise how blessed you are.

  • b_e_g and hismissus just wanted to say thinking of you both at this difficult time. Sending hugs xx:grouphug:

Well I've had plenty of time to keep up with all your gossip. I've been laid up all week with bronchitis! Been ill since beginning of December but finally decided on Tuesday enough was enough. Went to the Drs and got told off for not going sooner. Any longer and it might have turned to pneumonia:shocked: On double dose of antibiotics and gotta go back next week.

keep up the chatter, keeps me entertained :j
  • Just found a quote on pintrest which really struck a cord. Sure it applies to many of us.

'I like to pretend everythings alright.
Because when everybody else thinks you're fine,
sometimes you forget for a while
    thar you're not'

OK then. Now I feel very rude and crude! It was:

That Bleeping Bleep With A Tiny Bleep

Immature? Maybe. But did they cause my Christmas lovelies an ounce of pain or unhappiness? Then they're TFWWATW!

Ooh, I got two of them right lol (unless FW is fat wally in which case I didn't).:D

his-missus- so sorry to read of your loss. I echo what others have said and hope that he wasn't in pain and had a peaceful passing. My thoughts are with you and your family.

B_E_G- sorry to hear of your sad news too.

Haven't been posting but have checked in over the last week or so just to get my 'fix' of what you lot have been up to. I will try to make more of an effort to post, but the problem is that as I only get to check in every couple of days I spend so long catching up that I don't have time (or remember who said what) to post!

OMO- your son sounds sooo much like my nephew its uncanny! He is famous for his one liners, they cause so much hilarity in the family even though he doesn't intend to. It can work the other way though as he once tried to explain to my mom what a 'rainbow smile' was!! Mom nearly chocked when he told her! Certainly not something he should be telling his nan about!

Its Moms 70th birthday on Sunday so everyone is coming here for lunch. I have spent most of the week doing a cake for her which hasn't gone as well as I wanted but she will be happy with it I think. Last week I did a Dr Who 18th cake for DD bf so I am a little 'caked out' at the moment to say the least!!

Freespirit- Ive been reading about your challenges- you are doing so well keeping up with them. I cant help but feel that you have achieved the biggest challenge of all in raising such good, kind thoughtful and considerate kids despite having had KH issues.

JJ- ask for a second opinion about the referral- I suspect as someone said its most likely down to limited practice budgets.

Hugs to those that need them and 'Thanks' for everyone for sharing their laughs to brighten each other up xx
