  • Been reading back through the thread and glad it seems like the majority had a good Christmas. I was thoroughly spoilt, have enough chocolate to last me until Easter at this rate (though it won't lol) and now that the chaos is over I am starting to plan for next year. Am working my way through the sale sites since the weather here is so nasty I don't want to go outside :( but since I'm off work until 2nd Jan hopefully there might be an ok day between now and then for me to pop into town and browse :)

Thank you soooo much OMO for tis lovely shiny thread! Can you add my birthday please? 24th Feb
    Happy belated birthday pigpen!

We had a lovely relaxed Christmas day and a big family Boxing Day at Moms yesterday - we are lucky to have 2 Christmas days. Everyone loved their presents as did I from them. Not started on 2014 yet- will have to be a little different next year due to changed circumstances. Only downside to Christmas was on Christmas eve when we went to pick DD form her BF's house- the engine management light came on on the car- dreading whats wrong when the garage is open next week (and more importantly how much it will cost!!!). Strange cus its running OK- hope its just a sensor or something. Fingers crossed.

I'm glad everyone seemed to have a fab time xxx
    lovin' this site!

If you are near a Range, they are brillaint for art supplies, they have packs of glass paints, paintbrush, 4 paints, and out line stuff... very cheap for whats in them, and the paints last AGES. I bought mine umm about 7 years ago had to replace the outline stuff and I mix all my paintbrushes up, but LOADS of paint left :D . The also do ceramic packs, same stuff but ceramic version. They are the Vitera ones you paint it on then put them in the oven to set it, it's supposed to be dishwasher proof after, not tried it myself but a friend did accidentall put hers through the once... an d it survived... \/ after it's wash \/

I've just been out shopping got a ted baker set from boots for my aunt either birthday or next Christmas, and what is either for next Christmas, or a late gift this Christmas for a friend. Some years he buys presents other years he doesn't :/ so will see if he brings me anything :) . Everything else I'm waiting see if they still have when the 75% off starts mainly my hair stuff, it's not such a good offer as last year... last year it was shampoo, conditioner, mousse, and hair spray in a wash bag with giant curlers and 2 clips. I actually bought it for the curlers at the time but the hair spray has turned out to be the most amazing hair spray ever! but...it's over £6 a can on its own :o! The case this year is just shampoo, conditioner, mousse, and hair spray, none of the extra bits and it's the same price, so I will wait or boots points just for hair spray.
And I got some Quizzed up playing cards, they are like a usual set of playing cards but the have a question in the middle of each card thought they might be a bit of fun not sure if I'm opening them now or keeping them for the table next Christmas... theres only so long a mini bowling set from a cracker amuses people lol
Didn't find any gift wrap ribbon I liked :( nearly bought a roll of wrapping paper in m&s but it was £1.75 for 4m... and just brown paper with a nordic type design in white, wilko paper was as nice and much cheaper before Christmas even! I end up buying more every year anyway because I love wrapping paper!!! lol.

Ooh and also went to waitrose, got some of the heston Christmas stuff for my dinner tonight, some veg things, and some fancy stuffing with cherries in it... stuffing is my favourite thing, and cherries are my favourite fruit, I am so excited!! :D

I'm useless though I talk myself out of spending money, I pick something up carry it around a bit then put it back :o! I really want a onesie found one in New look, kind of boring just blue with a bit of lace on the shoulders but it was nice and soft, but still I talked myself out of it, and some shoes, and I really kind of needed shoes I only brought walking boots and some hole ridden summer shoes I use for driving back to the house I'm looking after with me oops! Only here till Sunday now though, so I'll survive...

(haha sorry I was rambling I've not talked to anyone today lol )

My spreadsheets are ready and I have my shiny new notebook in my bag already
