I've just returned to the house I'm sitting. I had loads of lovely Christmas pressies, my mum stole one because my sisters hadn't been delivered yet. And I have the massive decision on whether to go halves with my sister to buy a tv for the xbox
But happy boxing day everyone
My Christmas 2014 shopping starts tomorrow! Paper and ribbons top of the list(may or may not be currently trying to make up my mind about some ribbons on next).
Also does anyone know if Asda still have any decs in or not? I bought a cute little snow globe one months before Christmas, couldnt find it when we got the treefound it yesterday it had been on top of the chess set when it had fallen off the piano and well the chess set smashed it. Luckily the glass isn't sharp at all though I'm not sure what it is they have used to make it quite amazing it's paper thin!

Sorry I haven't been online since Sunday evening as I have been poorly sick since then. Wont bore you with the details but I have been given two lots of antibiotics and anti sick pills. Only had a half childs portion of dinner yesterday (according to DH). Hopefully the meds will kick in and do their job soon and I will be back on form.
Doubt I will be able to catch up with all the post over the last week but hopefully I will be back for a daily visit.
:bdaycake: Happy Birthday Pigpen.
Thank you OMO for sorting out our new home.
Hope you all had a lovely peaceful Christmas and that all your hard work paid off.
Catch up with you all later.

Oh BLUEEYEDGIRL after all the hard work how horrible for you to be so ill, i hope you feel better soon xThanks OMO for all your hard work last year and starting this years. Hope Santa was good to everyone. I was very spoiled and had a fab day but had a bad start to today. One of our lovely huge fish in our pond was on the grass this morning half eaten. I then found that another two had gone. We have had them for about 12 years so really upset. We have a net to stop the Heron so think we may have an otter or a mink. We are going to stay up all night to see if they come back. We had been so worried about moving the fish when we move in the future but it looks like we may have no fish to move. I am so worried about the other 9.
Well take care.
MARCO hope you find out what is killing and eating the fishthanks for a new thread omo. very exciting and we really apppreciate all your work.
my birthday 4th april
well ive made a good start on christmas next year. bought wrapping paper cards and crackers and have also done a big boots shop online so have 70 pounds worth of stuff (£140 normal price) so thats my presents for my kids started. very worried that they will arrive on the two days that im away but said to leave with a neighbour.
been a very sad christmas in one way but better than i could have imagined we would get. dd2 ( the escapee) came to sleep xmas eve and stayed for christmas dinner. as i said very sad as she was grey and dirty and im sure that she has mental health issues. i fed her up and washed her clothes and she looked better when i took her back. of course i cried all the way home. my darling darling daughterthen dd1 came to sleep christmas day night ( and had christ.mas dinner with us) and they have just left for home so of course ive been crying all after noon. couple that with a 1 min spat with my oh just because im so upset really he had done nothing. we never argue. hes a brilliant dad and tried so hard for the kids this christmas making an extra effort to see that dd2 has all she needs and letting her know he loved her. ( in his man way lol) im just so up and down. anyway. little man has gone up to play with his new disney game and dh asleep so ive made a start with christmas shopping for next year.
love the fact we have a new christmas thread.
will check in again tomorrow

WUVVIES i know it was kinda sad for you, it was a big step forward, having her for christmas dinner and staying over the night before x#103 1p Saving Challenge Back to Front 293.94/665.95Currently Reading: Christmas at Cedarwood Lodge - Rebecca Raisin Debt Free thanks to MSE0 -
Well I'm here, I fell behind a little last year but it's very important that I keep my head on straight for 2014 as we hope to buy a house and I also recently found out that if all goes well there will be a 3rd member of our household by August
I'm off to read the rest of the 2013 thread then I'll be back to get organised. Hope you all had a lovely day yesterday, Happy Birthday Pigpen
xxxxxx
Congratulations LIZZI_B xMorning, thanks for the new thread OMO x
We had a fantastic day. The kids loved all their pressies and were really spoiled. The dinner went really smoothly. My sisters were helping finish off and dish it up. First time ive cooked flr so many. So glad I did so much prep on Xmas eve, so I had nothing to do except to start reheating and doing the veg and roast tatties. It was all yummy.
The youngest kids went to bed, the older 2 went to play, so we all sat down for a game of Trivial pursuit.
Lovely day. Lots of fun, food and wine
Looking forward to a chill day today. Watching telly and playing with the kids toys. X
NIC glad the meal went well for you, well done xdropsofjupiter wrote: »Thanks for the new thread OMO - also loving the title. Was this the one you picked ages ago?
Happy birthday Pigpen, hope you get some time to yourself today!
And Merry Boxing Day to everyone else.
Had a lovely Christmas, the day itself was a bit strange, being the first since we moved out - and I had dinner at my OHs for the first time - which was an experience. Anyway, when we got home he proposed so a lovely ending to the day
I don't really do NYR, as I'm so busy at work in January, my new year starts in February, so I'll have a think on those for now.
Congratulations DROPSOFJUPITER x

made a good start on 2014 and have got a lot of not so close families gesture gifts, teachers gifts and a few for our kiddies (will have 6 of ours next xmas to buy for after this ones born in January that's scary!)
we've already agreed that next year our 2 eldest will have an xbox one and ps4 to cut on the cost I plan to save all the survey amazon vouchers throughout the year and also convert all the cashback we earn to amazon vouchers as you get a 5% bonus and that should cover the cost of one and a few games
The other will be part/all covered by ebay/local sales through out the year
just need to find the perfect notebook for all my crazy lists I love making and re-doing!
going to hunt for xmas paper online tonight but I always seem to buy it now then fall in love with different when the shops start selling it oct/nov and sell all the sale stuff to mother in law so might resist temptation
Also does anyone know the best place to sell a voucher, I have a £100 boots gift card but have got all I need for baby from there and presents for next year already
PINKLADY oh you sound very organised already, im sure someone will know best place to sell voucher, i would try facebay if you are on facebookmsgigglewick wrote: »waves! happy christmas to all and welcome the newbies
We actually have had a lovely few days (apart from the youngest being a bit chesty and sharing her dinner with us again lol) its my dd2's 15th bday today and we went for a walk around the sales which were surprisingly empty! so she got the pick of the lot.. was lovely. Got a few xmas pressies put back for next year already lol .. two tatty teddy bears she's collecting and some xmassy pj's for xmas eve for dd3.... got dd4 some new clothes she needs for now. Grabbed dh a new shirt.. and i got some new yankee candles and a new gingerbread man holderWasn't really overly impressed with the clothing sales but dd2 was.
All the pressies went down well which is good
Hope everyone had a lovely day. only skimed read back and sounds like most have
Next years plans is to pay off the very final small amount of our debt (its so very small but annoying lol but will all be gone come august) then to redecorate the house and save save save!
MSGIGGLEWICK glad you had a lovely christmas, you were brave going to the sales, you were lucky it wasnt busy, happy birthday to DD2 hope she has had a lovely dayFound you all! : )
