Morning, thanks for the new thread OMO x

We had a fantastic day. The kids loved all their pressies and were really spoiled. The dinner went really smoothly. My sisters were helping finish off and dish it up. First time ive cooked flr so many. So glad I did so much prep on Xmas eve, so I had nothing to do except to start reheating and doing the veg and roast tatties. It was all yummy.

The youngest kids went to bed, the older 2 went to play, so we all sat down for a game of Trivial pursuit.
Lovely day. Lots of fun, food and wine

Looking forward to a chill day today. Watching telly and playing with the kids toys. X

Hello all!

Hope you all had wonderful christmasses, I am looking forward to hearing about all your challenges and triumphs in 2014.

My goals for this year is to get some of the debt down (currently around 7k on credit cards etc) and get into good savings hobbits.I would also like to lose weight/get fit....I got married in August 2013 and slimmed down for that, however haven't stepped foot in a gym since....which isn't good, as although I'm not really overweight I find it does wonders for my mental well being and really helps with anxiety.

:hello: everyone. Belated christmas wishes to you all.

Sorry I haven't been online since Sunday evening as I have been poorly sick since then. Wont bore you with the details but I have been given two lots of antibiotics and anti sick pills. Only had a half childs portion of dinner yesterday (according to DH). Hopefully the meds will kick in and do their job soon and I will be back on form.

Doubt I will be able to catch up with all the post over the last week but hopefully I will be back for a daily visit.

Don't really have any goals for next year just yet apart from try to save money every month for Xmas and again have a mainly homemade Xmas.

I was very unprepared for this Christmas and bought my poor husband nothing. He was fine about it but i was not. There are no excuses. I just didn't.
