    Hello all!

I had a bit of a disaster on thursday night I blacked out at a friends hit my face on the way down on either a sink or childs plastic stool , spent a day and a bit in hospital , as they wanted to check shunt ect , got a lovely black eye , chipped tooth and cut inside of cheek! Whoops! Ok now though!

Decluttering quick bath throw stuff in a bag then my man (weird to say that) is picking me up for our weekend!

Love and hugs to all! Sorry its a rushed post ,

    Morning all,
We had good news yesterday charlie [the dog] probably wont need an operation as his knees have stabilized a bit , he just needs to lose a few pounds now . the vet proceeded to tell us off as he has gained 2lbs in the last month frankly im surprised its not more as we were told not to take him out for the past month he has had no exercise at all !

Christmas prep is plodding along Ive used my Topcashback to get another series of Simpsons for dd, ive also ordered personalized stockings for dd & OH.
After being lazy and buying my crackers last year im going back to making my own , the bought ones weren't cheap but were a let down non the less.

Im managing better than i thought with my injections but im waking up with blazing headaches every morning i only hope they ease off in a week or so.
hope you all have a great day.

That is great news! So glad it's just the weight loss :)
I had to post that separately as I couldn't get it to stop underlining, I am so un IT minded its daft. I still haven't bought anything for next Christmas in the sales, is there a dearth of bargains near chez invis? or am I skint? could be both.
Took friend to a posh beauty spa yesterday, as they had offered her some work there, her interview included her giving the boss a back massage, and her first shift is tomorrow! so tonight she is going to do a timed facial and back massage on me, for practice. Well, I suppose I'll just have to do it that's what friends are for, (lol)
Loads of hugs going out, grab one as they pass, plenty for everyone, I have to go to M&S to pick up a clock and a cake tin - (eclectic shopper, me!) that I ordered. Then it is the dreaded housework, and I still haven't heard from the insurers assessor, grrrrrrrowl bite bite.

Have you phoned them yet? Sometimes I find the only way to get things done is to kick up a stink at the end of the phone (I loathe doing it, but sometimes needs must). I really hope you get some joy soon.

Oh no :( You poor thing! I really hope it doesn't intefer with your romantic weekend, and I hope you have a lovely time :)

freespirit and blue eyed girl I am here, just lurking as don't really feel I've had anything constructive to add :)

Well I am still feeling very positive with my plans to concentrate on life and being less stressed. So far so good, although the lovely nanamia did spot that I was being very naughty and working earlier today when I'm supposed to not work the weekends ;) It was the slap on the wrist I needed or else I would easily be sinking back into old ways. It does feel that I'm not accomplishing everything I want by not working after dinner or weekends, but in truth I felt that when working 70 hours a week anyway!

A new resolution is to maybe start a digital scrapbook of special days throughout the year. I will then get them printed and use them to look back on the events of the year. I think I will really enjoy doing this in years to come :)

Oh no! Hope you have an extra wonderful weekend to make up for it.

Love the idea of doing a stocking for yourself, seawaves. At least you can guarantee you'll like what you get on Christmas Day!

Have been putting away some more Christmas bits today. How did it fit on top of the wardrobe in November but now it doesn't??? I haven't got many more new bits.

Thanks to everyone that chats about their daily lives. I don't have much to chat about myself as my life is fairly boring i.e. go to work & then come home with a shopping trip at weekends.

Don't know if anyone has spotted this magic set

Might be an ideal pressie for someone!
Great price but says currently unavailable so looks like they are sold out now.

I've never really liked Christmas since I stopped receiving a stocking from "Father Christmas"/My mum. This was around 25 years ago when I got married! I loved waking in the early morning on Christmas Day, opening a present or two, and going back to sleep! For a couple of years more recently, I had a friend who gave me present, that I was able to save to open on Christmas Morning, but that has now stopped. I have a present from my parents at lunchtime on Christmas Day, but to me, that's not the same. My two son's are severely autistic and don't really understand presents.

I noticed this year, that I was unable to remember what I had wrapped for other people, even when wrapped just a few days before Christmas!
So, I am making myself a Christmas Stocking for Christmas 2014! I don't usually buy myself pretty things, just basic stuff. So in the sales I'm looking out for a pretty handwash, and little odds and ends. and will keep the stocking with the Christmas Decorations so I can find it in December. Lakeland wrapped a small item in masses of tissue paper, which was handy!
I always do a stocking for myself and DH too. Some treats like moisturiser, new lipstick. That way I always get something I want ;-)

Hi all, crazy couple of days, new bedroom furniture for ds, wardrobe and drawers are lovely and were easy to put together, new cotbed on the other hand was badly damaged and awful quality, which wasn't great to find out after we had dismantled and sold his old one. So very unhappy little boy sleeping in his travel cot, managed to get a different one next day delivery so I had fun putting it together by myself this morning.
Have managed to get a few bargain DVDs from tesco today as posted on grab it, they had loads in our store, also a fireman Sam onesie for ds christmas present and thomas pjs for now all reduced :-) and also sorted my sis birthday present from Facebook, just need a frame for it.
I do love shopping for other people :-)
Hope everyone is having a good weekend x
