  • Caitlyn22 - Your OH will probably really enjoy the horse riding. He will be sore when he comes off though - and in places that he never imagined he would be :rotfl:

Ha, never thought of that. If I wasn't doing it too I'd considering filming him on my mobile...there's got to be some chuckles in that! I am a bit like my dad - he used to hate things like You've Been Framed etc, saying it was "just laughing at kids hurting themselves" (!) - but I have to say, I do like the ones where the people filming can hardly breathe for laughing! Even if it isn't that funny, I'm always tickled by hearing/seeing other people who fall into giggles, laughter is so infectious!

Just had a Ruth_honey prescribed bath - perfect! Though my latest Kindle download is a bit gruesome. I'm all for a bit of crime but this is a serial killer too far for me I think!

I did give it a try with isme but it was cancelled. I didn't even get told they were cancelling it though. I ended up getting this

It doesn't look much in the pic but its really good quality and they do it in white too, the drawer is great as we really need storage space.

Beautiful cot. My DS1 2yrs 7months is still in his cot bed, still got sides on. Will need to move him out into big bed soon as baby won't fit in the moses basket much longer. Hope he still stays in his bed, when there are no bars to contain him lol.
Pigpen hope you got your bed changed, don't know how you manage with so many children. I can never get tidy and I only have 2 (and a messy husband lol) Trying my best to declutter as we would like to sell and move soon and hoping it'll make it easier to tidy.

    Happy birthday, Crowdpleaser!

Just had a nice long bath myself. Glad to see others making time to relax, too. No Baileys and chocs tonight, but I did finish off the last of my posh bath oil and I read a good section of my book (daren't take kindle in the bath!). Hubby had last weekends Sherlock to watch so I was in there for ages. :)
Been having a little sort out today. Lots of shredding, finding homes for new books, organising our CDs and putting some on the iPod. Worn out now! No idea how it got so late.

Time flies when you are having fun! :D

    Happy birthday to Crowdpleaser!
A good life is when you assume nothing, do more, need less, smile often, dream big, laugh a lot, and realise how blessed you are.

  • My OH came home from work with a good sized box specifically to put it all in :T
I was shocked, he doesn't really ever think of anyone/anything but himself. The pile must really be annoying him :rotfl:

    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Good morning, it isn't raining...... honest! the wind has dropped, is this the calm before the storm, or has it really gone? I have no need to run a hot wash on my machine, as DDIL ALWAYS uses the recommended wash for each blooming wash!

MRSINVISIBLE actually after reading your post i have just realised we have had no rain or wind today

I've never really liked Christmas since I stopped receiving a stocking from "Father Christmas"/My mum. This was around 25 years ago when I got married! I loved waking in the early morning on Christmas Day, opening a present or two, and going back to sleep! For a couple of years more recently, I had a friend who gave me present, that I was able to save to open on Christmas Morning, but that has now stopped. I have a present from my parents at lunchtime on Christmas Day, but to me, that's not the same. My two son's are severely autistic and don't really understand presents.
I noticed this year, that I was unable to remember what I had wrapped for other people, even when wrapped just a few days before Christmas!
So, I am making myself a Christmas Stocking for Christmas 2014! I don't usually buy myself pretty things, just basic stuff. So in the sales I'm looking out for a pretty handwash, and little odds and ends. and will keep the stocking with the Christmas Decorations so I can find it in December. Lakeland wrapped a small item in masses of tissue paper, which was handy!

Hello and welcome SEAWAVES a lovely idea to treat yourself

JUNIORJ oh what are you like?? glad you are ok though and still able to have a lovely weekend with your young man x
