FEISTY hope everything is ok i cant remember last time you were on herefreespirit try running your washing machine on the hottest longest wash cycle (some machines have a self clean cycle)but don't put any soap powder in this allows it to clear out any build up & usually solves the problem. also worth checking if the filters are blocked.
Thankyou MANDCO funny you should say that yesterday it dinged halfway through a wash and said water not draining away, so i just paused it and put back on and it was fine, but now i am wondering if there is a build up, and now im thinking i wonder if that is what blocked my drains not the washing powder but always doing a 30 degree wash aha mm will have to investigateWith our washing machine, I have to clean the drawer every so often. I soak it in soapy water with added bleach then approx twice a year I use a jug to pour this water down the hole where the drawer was- don't forget to shut the door first. Works best if you can get a bottle brush in there then give it a scrub. Then pop soda crystals in the drawer and put a hot wash on.
I also like to do sheets, cloths and towels at 60 long wash at least every other time. Partly to kill germs and partly to keep washing machine clean. Used to quick wash at 40 all the time and it did get grotty quicker. Not using fabric softener helps but I hate the static you get on clothes if you don't use any.
Thanks FLUFFYSOX i do keep the drawer bit clean because i follow flyladying and that is one of their regular tasks clean drawer and any filtersoh do you know what perhaps i should go back to washing towels etc on 60 degrees, i just thought it was better because its always going on on the telly how much better for the environment and saves money by using 30 degrees all the time
yes im afraid i do use fabric softener, not loads but all the time
I havent completed all of todays tasks because i am going to go down my craftshop tomorrow and do the cards and my piece of artwork
Scientists have not figured out exactly why exercise is such a potent antidepressant, but evidence suggests that physical activity triggers new cell growth in the brain, increasing mood-enhancing neurotransmitters and endorphins, reduces stress, and relieves muscle tension. Cleared out the drawers under my bed today so have somewhere to stash all the pressies I've bought in the sales! All neatly packed away, 1 drawer full and the other on its way. Lovely to feel organised, for once. Am into town tomorrow so will have a quick look to see if there are any last bargains to be had. Not holding out much hope after all your bargain hunting, my fellow Christmas nuts!!2015 £2 Saver #82

Go to PMs.
Click on messages you want to move.
At the bottom of the list there is a box that will say 'move to folder' ' delete' etc.
Select 'move to folder'
An error message will appear saying a new folder needs to be made.
It then says to make a new folder press 'here'
Press and make a new folder. Then move the messages.0 -
It's unnervingly quiet on here tonight.
My washing machine seems better now that I've reverted to doing towels and bedding on a 60 degree long wash instead of the quick wash. Hope that helps Freespirit weirdly my washing machine stopped on Christmas Day flashing "err 5" which meant it couldn't drain properly (googled) My BFF laughed at me and said it was because I'd put it on on Christmas Day but I wanted to do the tablecloth ha. I love your challenges but don't know how you are managing to get any thing else done, they would take me all day to do! xxx
Mandco the coffee sachets are a great idea! I usually pack the Nescaf! 3-1 which has milk and sugar so you just need the hot water. Travel pillow, itunes vouchers for iPad/ iPhone used for holiday music or kindle books for the hols, change purse, travel bottles to decant products into, cheap clock (never have time in hotel room) notebook and pen (tho I am stationery mad) prepaid credit for holiday snaps etc etc can you tell I don't travel light? xxx

Jumper finished knitting!!!!! So, of course I cannot find the needle to sew it up.. I'll just trot to the wool shop tomorrow and buy a new one.. it is so annoying! Maybe it is just hiding so I go to bed rather than stay up all night sewing it together. I need to take Squeak, Mimi (my 13 y/o whingebag) and OH to buy new shoes.. Mimi is at KH's so I'll pop her there next weekend but I shall take Squeak tomorrow.. her boots are fine but I am pretty certain her shoes need replacing. OH's have literally fallen apart..
Tree still not entirely away and I just noticed the window stickers are still on the windows.. oops!
Chazzer bag, first we have had through the door in months, is being collected on Tuesday so that should get rid of some stuff..
