Afternoon everyone, this constant rain is doing my nut in, when is it going to stop  DD2 is running out of ways to get to work because all her usual roads are closed because of flooding, good job she is in Lisbon for a long weekend, i wonder if any of you ladies could give me a couple of bits of advice: TIA
1. My washing machine is on constant at the moment where i am trying to catch up, but it has started really smelling, if i washed through a handful of washing soda do you think it would help?
2. My PM inbox is nearly full and i got an email saying i could save the messages or delete them, well i tried but i cant see how you can save them into another folder am i going to have to delete them?Freespirit another thing we have in common sis! I too have blanked lots from my childhood, well school in particular. But I still reckon your poshAnother day completed woo hoo, you must be very proud of yourself xxx
Haha i will take that, not many have said that to me in my lifetime40m will probably last me until 2020 which is why I didn't pick up the Disney stuff as I have about 6 multipacks of sheets from previous years as they're easier to store for me :rotfl: Once I bought this sort of amount on clearance, folded it up, and ended up recycling some of it after about 6 years as the paper was starting to disintegrate at the folded corners :rotfl::rotfl:
Oh NICKI i did have to laugh, sometimes being so MSE doesnt work out does it
HANLEY what a beautiful piccie, DS looks so proud! Dont say sorry about big pics, i cant see the small ones so its ideal for me:D:D

freespirit, I know different people recommend lots of different things to solve a stinky washing machine, but quite often it is due to a build up of bacteria because of doing lots of lukewarm washing (30/40 degrees). These temperatures aren't hot enough to kill the bacteria from your clothes, but it encourages them to grow.
It's recommended that you try and do a very hot wash (90 degrees) at least every couple of weeks as this will kill off the icky bugs (or more if you're doing lots of washing at the moment). Also, I've heard that using fabric conditioners and the like will also give the bacteria something to feed on, so try avoiding that if you can.
Hope that helps, it may take a few goes to lessen the smell, but it should work. If not, I'd go and see the Old Stylers for more advice0 -
I love Charie Stinky Socks, he's got a cheeky chappy grin Hanley he's adorable
Hope he had a good day at school xxx
Freespirit keep seeing all the disruption the weather has caused. Didn't realise it was near you (geography is not one of my strong points sadly) it's caused havoc hasn't it. Hope it sorts itself very soon, tho did I hear Linky mention snow?
Linky love yesterday's quote! I've been guilty of it in the past tho this year, I think from being on here and being a bit more fussy, I've not even found much worth buying. Am I getting really boring? Did buy some bits from tesco direct for DGD2 but will let her have them this weekend, bad Nana xxxThe secret of Christmas

Well sis I totally agree with Arthien I run mine through on 90 degrees with soap powder, soda and vinegar. Something about using liquid doesn't help I think. Careful though we don't want that pipe to block again
good luck xxx

I got a message from MSE today asking if they could use my post about the pet pillows on their twitter feed.
Picked up the kids smellies from Boots. Got FM a very large singing hound dog for £6.45 in a local shop. It sings and dances to 3 Christmas songs. Also got him a great little garage for £4 in a charity shop.
The hound dog barks and howls while it's singing and Mia keeps barking back at it :rotfl:
Off to cook dinner now. Hope everyone has a good day.0
