im late in today as went hairdressers this morning to have the grey roots and split ends decluttered, then work then made the mistake of looking in the boys rooms - 2 bins bags later ive come up for air!

out tonight with Dh and the kids to celebrate his birthday tomorrow, hes taking the day off so i probably wont be in much till monday, not really fair of me to be on the puter while hes off.

hope everyone has a lovely weekend and is stocked up with bargains now

    Xmas Saver!
Popped into Tesco on my way home from work as I finished early and they had nothing left in the sale !!!
But did bump into bestie. So not a completely wasted trip. And I wanted to get some more washing powder as everyone here keeps talking about snow.

Also bumped into another one of mums friends.
I should say they are not really friends, they are all people she used to work with. And quite a few of them are only a few years older than me. My bestie went to school with a lot of them.
Anyway bestie says to this friend ' Guess who she (me) had a run in with yesterday ? ' and then tells her about my row. This friend of mums was more on my side. :D
So at least if the cow from yesterday goes into work tomorrow ( she works part time) and says anything, there is someone to put everyone else straight. :D
So I feel a bit happier now. :D:D

    Not much to report here.

Jealous of all your bargain shopping trips! Especially Christmas bits.

I am not spending any money for nearly 2 months as I'm having a new kitchen on the 12th-14th Feb and every single penny is going on new appliances. I only moved here in July and I only have a washing machine and a knackered fridge freezer so I'm going all out & everything is going to be new. It's sooo exciting but also awful trying to explain to the kids why we haven't left the house all week & are living on very cheap meals but they understand and it will all be worth it though. Only 5 weeks to go! Tumble drier is being delivered tomorrow & I'm ordering the dishwasher on Tuesday! I have never had a dishwasher, I am so excited!
Then I need to order a cooker hood, table and chairs & fridge freezer & pay for the sink & floor tiles & a few other bits. Very small amount of time to do it all in!

Am I the only one who thinks that lindor chocolates are just waaay to sickly? I enjoy the taste but couldn't eat more than one without feeling ill!

Normal chocolate tho, I can eat bars & bars of unfortunately! Even with toothache, it hasn't stopped me eating, damn!
Lindt Chocolate is my favourite
New kitchen- very exciting, hope it all goes smoothly ;-)

Ok he is my age , he is called Matt the last date we went on was a lovely meal followed by a walk in pouring rain (he held my hand) then we went to pick up some drinks and I took him to meet my cousin and her other half we then had drinks and laughs (he paid) He then grabbed my hands and cuddled me and asked if I could be his girlfriend! That was date 5! I agreed and this weekend we are staying in a hotel , going for a meal meeting more family! Eeeek!

nicki what is dd into? maybe some kind of activity pass/voucher? have you asked her what she'd like? I know it sounds obvious but I know half the time I get stuff based on what I think they'd like.

hoping to finally get to the shops today and see what if any bargains are left
Thanks, cords and shirt arrived today, just got to get DS to let me try them on him now. Also ordered a dress for me too which is quite nice :-)
    Productive few days here:
    1. Compared and switched my parents home insurance from their bank saving them £44 a month and switched them from Virgin phone/ TV/ internet to Tesco phone and broadband with Freeview, saving approx another £40 a month. (My bro lived with them til recently and the expensive broadband was paid for by him) Next I'm hoping they'll let me look at utilities for them ;-)
    2. Whole house hoovered, tree collected today. Baby's newborn and 0-3 clothes removed from his wardrobe. 4 big bags ready for charity. Filing done.
    3. Finally opened savings accounts for boys so I have somewhere to put Christmas and birthday gifts of money.
    4. Took an unwanted gift back to Boots (a cheeseboard from my brother- he left the receipt) £16 bought on 3 for 2. Lady advised me to exchange for £16 worth of goods in store, so I got some lovely slipper boots, and two sets of Champneys nail varnishes. (one will be a Feb birthday gift) All half price in the sale so only cost me £3 plus an unwanted cheeseboard.
Also returned an unwanted DVD boxset to Asda that he bought mum. She is happy to get a giftcard instead ;-)
2016 MFW OPd £2000, 2015 MFW OPd 3000 then bought new bigger house with bigger mortgage.
    MFW OPd 2014 £2000 2013 £9700 2012 £2848.39 2011 £2509.58 2010 £11000 2009 £112002008 £4939 :D

I actually bought something from the sales for next Christmas this evening! I popped into my local Aldi and they had their 8m rolls of Christmas wrapping paper reduced to 9p a roll! :D My local store (Smithdown Road in Liverpool) had loads of Disney Car and Princess paper, but not sure how much that was. So I raided the box and got one of each of the other designs :D I did say I wasn't going to buy any wrapping paper this year, but this stuff as grid lines on the back making it easier to cut straight and at 9p for 8m I wasn't going to miss that bargain.

Sorry the picture is so big. Can't share the one on facebook and for some reason photobucket doesn't appear to be resizing it. :o

Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.
Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!
