12/12/12 challenge-[STRIKE]Season's Greeting Newton's Law[/STRIKE] Christmas polar bear-finished on time!
Thanks to all the girls in the Cross Stitch Cafe! You're all fantastic! :A0 -
I havent got all of todays challenge done (smacks hand) but spoke to DS after my mini meltdown this morning and he said not to put pressure on myself and do them when i can fit them in
Take things one day at a time, and reward yourself for each accomplishment. The steps may seem small, but they will quickly add up, and for all the energy you put into your depression recovery, you will get back much more in return.
1. Complete the daily sudoku challenge
2. Write a letter to your future self to be opened on 31/12/14
3. Bake some home made bread
4. Try some flower arranging
Todays presents to open were a packet of extra strong flour and some yeast, a letter writing pack, a decorative mini plant pot with some artificial flowers (haha typical bloke, none of them match) but i will try and make them look arranged :rotfl:#103 1p Saving Challenge Back to Front 293.94/665.95Currently Reading: Christmas at Cedarwood Lodge - Rebecca Raisin Debt Free thanks to MSE0 -
Evening everyone and hello & welcome to Reen
I've been pretty upset at being so far from home since I've had to come back after Christmas, but hopefully I'll be back to normal soon. For some reason I'm getting enormous spring-cleaning urges lately too, I have no idea why and it isn't time for doing that yet! Going to do some decluttering, cleaning and tidying at the weekend to hopefully help with that, I am itching to get at it all. Not that there's much clutter, I fling regularly, don't have much space and most of it is OH's man clutter that I'm not allowed to touch, grrr!
Really fancy the sound of those OCD pyjamas, why haven't I got a B&M nearby!0 -
Just to remind everyone.
If the phone numbers are NGN-non-geographic numbers- you can use "saynoto0870"
to see if there is a landline alternative.
Just google it and choose "find alternative number".
Type in the 0870/ 0844 etc number and if there is other ones it will display them. You can also search by company name.
HTH.

Christmas is not a time but a state of mind :xmassmile
Trying.....Very trying- as my DH would say

Thanks for all the welcomes!
I have gone spring cleaning mad this evening prompting DH to go to bed early, it's amazing how quick he vanishes if I get a duster out....
Put together a pile to get on eBay tomorrow and all sales money goes straight in the christmas fund.Determined to be money neutral this year

comments on 0844 number for my doctors- Thanks! Glad I am not the only one who finds it disgusting! Won't be making that mistake in the future!
Busy day , went to get my hair cut (I get one side done at the barbers as hair is so short from brain surgery I just have patterns popped in!) but it was packed so I avoided it and attended a appointment elsewhere I had! So hair cut tomorrow...maybe! Nothing Christmassy but I am loving cartoon HD app!
Diet went well today! As did upping my water in take!

I do have one moan!
I realized my phone bill was extra high and I knew the only think that should of been charged was a justiving text donating £1 to the charity supporting my brain disease! Anyway I phoned vodaphone up and they gave me a 0844 number which I wrote down .. they said it wasnt including in my 300 minutes of 08 numbers as it only includes 0800 0845 0870 I googled said number and its my doctor surgery! I am so annoyed £23 it has cost me to speak to them over the past month! Anyway! I guess we all learn! Going to need to tweak my budget now to cover the extra cost!
Love and hugs and positive vibes to all!
1 thing that made me smile today
playing play station with my autistic older brother
My GP surgery had an 0844 number for a while but have gone back to a normal local code now. Do write a letter to the surgery telling them how much it has cost you to recieve "free" NHS treatment. It was patient pressure that made our docs change.Own_My_Own wrote: »Why does it always pour with rain when I'm walking the dog, then stop minutes after I get home. Yet again this morning I got court in a downpour.Have had to change my clothes to go to work. It didn't help that I thought I would take a shortcut back only to discover my brolly was too wide for the alley walls.
Off to work now. The day has just got to get better.
Pigpen hope you get a good rest tonight and feel better soon.
Nanamia, hope DGD had a great time at preschool.
Busy few days here. Tree and all decs down. Binned some baubles we've had for 10 years. Will get some nice new ones. Furniture back where it belongs. Our sofas are really heavy to move! Also doing some decluttering. We might try to move this year. And got my boys' christening to plan. Its only 3 weeks away and still got to organise food and balloons for tables. I considered a children's entertainer but she was £140 for a hour so don't think we'll bother. morning all
hope everyone is well
DS has gone back to school this morning which also means im back to work later. oh well its nice having same hols as the children and i suppose christmas had to end sometime.
got DH pressie wrapped ready for his birthday card was sorted before christmas.
found a little girly purse and a neutral looking kiddie £1saver money box amongst the chrsitmas stash i didnt use so im going to put some money in both of those and that DD2s partners kidides sorted for their birthdays. Coming so close after christmas im sure money will be more use to them than house filler.
cant believe how much people are getting ripped off with 'premimum rate' numbers especially low of drs etc to use them.
I hope the day is kind to everyone and there is something good in it for everyone.SPC~12 ot 124
In a world that has decided that it's going to lose its mind, be more kind my friend, try to Be More Kind0
