Afternoon all :santa2:,
I always manage to catch up with reading but never have enough time to post!
I can't believe two weeks today and it will be the first of December! :j
Hoping to get our Decs down on the 30th so the girls can have their room xmas trees up and I'm not sure when ours will go up, probably the 6th or 7th December. I love our street at xmas, a lot of houses decorate so love getting home and seeing all the houses lit up
My two girls are finished. Eldest (8) is having MiWorld sets, Lego, a 1D hamper and Frozen soft toys. Youngest (2) is having books and wooden food sets and a wooden market stall.
Just have to brave the wrapping although that won't be happening until a few days before the big day because of peeping eyes!
Family wise they are having the following and are gift boxed or gift bagged :rotfl:
Mum-DKNY perfume, small candle, hand cream and some lucky charms (just to remind her of me!)
Dad & partner - Afternoon tea voucher, mugs (need to buy some hot chocolate on sticks and maybe a cheeky miniature whisky!), sweetie jar set and a yankee candle.
Grandad & partner - Very difficult! I've done them a food hamper with some m&s biscuits, coffee, crackers, chutney, xmas shaped pasta, chocolate covered ginger, boiled sweets, caramel coffee biscuits, unusual flavour crisps, hot chocolate sticks.
MIL & husband - We're putting in together with DH's brother and sister for a night away in London and show tickets.
Fil & partner - Box of liquorice and a local garden centre voucher
BIL & wife - Xmas shaped pasta, pasta sauce, parmesan grater & Bella Italia gift voucher
SIL - Benefit make up set & box of recess peanut butter balls
All the children in the family/friends have had a book & a little stocking filler each (toothbrush, car, magic trick, socks etc)
Eldest teacher i bought 3 different boxes of the american sweets when in pound land so I think he has Starburst desserts, Jolly Ranchers and Reeces Peanut Butter Balls, maybe one more!?. The TA has a scarf and a Nails Inc nail varnish.
Just my husband now but I can sort him out when I get a definitive answer to what he wants!
Love reading everyones prep :rudolf:Spreading a little Christmas joy all year round :santa2:0 -

Mandco, so sorry to hear about your friend's DH. Feeling sorry for myself today as was up in the night being sick (I have a bit of a phobia about it so fortunately it doesn't happen very often). Anyway, being reminded how much worse off other people are puts things into perspective. It's the most wonderful timeof the year :0

Evening all, haven't checked in for a while as its been a busy few weeks!
lots of birthdays this past week (including mine) so haven't done an overwhelming amount in the way of Christmas. Me and OH decided we were going to host Christmas this year (first time ever!) so just been deciding what food to have!
I haven't had a chance to properly catch up with where everybody is, hopefully I'll do that later this week when I've got more time! in the meantime I hope everyone's getting along well and I see a few people have got trees up - looking forward to seeing some pictures! I'm putting mine up on the 1st of December and I don't think I can actually wait - I'm itching to put it up sooner!
Jo xxI'm usually using a phone, so excuse my spelling please!0 -
