  • DS just caught me telling Teddy that she had better start behaving because the christmas fairies will soon be out. His reaction was that I'd better see doc soon for a change in prescription.

:rotfl: I speak to my furry girls like little people all the time ;)

Some of you may remember that last year I set myself the challenge of this year having a luxury Christmas on a shoe string, well if you check out my signature, you will see I'm well on my way :)

The majority of food is from Waitrose and the Christmas presents are from handmade sellers (swapping for my own handmade paper cuts) Goldsmiths, money off certain spend vouchers and by using the profit from ebay sales (I got sent a free fitbit when I requested a new holder as mine is worn, seemed silly not to sell it when my actual fitbit is going strong!). I know it may sound silly, but I am so proud of these totals as there has been so many hours of hard work and price comparing going into them!

PS my avatar has now been changed to my furries wearing Christmas hats in the snow ;)

Oh well done, slightly envious as I had so many things I was going to do but never did. You've made me decide to definitely think serious as to what I can achieve next year. I've already made a pact with another board member here to start a change in January and as all my shopping etc is done I will spend December with my feet up deciding on realistic challenges for 2015. X

I had this chat with Harper last week. I am feeling slightly pants today, but I think I'll get up the loft and get the stockings and some wrapping paper down. I feel wrapping should be started.

    Love and hugs xxx
  • Well so far today, been to sainsbugs (had to buy their own brand tin of biscuits, so festive looking :)), 2 loads of washing, folded and put everything else away, fed & wrapped the baby cakes made yesterday, another mummy one in oven at mo, steam cleaned the bathroom & kitchen floors, so think I deserve 5 mins here while I have a coffee. Trying to decide if it is worthwhile doing the bit of ironing which needs to be done or wait until later in week.

Going to wrap more presents, sort out what I have for who later, make up db hamper(nothing exciting, but he gets a years supply of socks, shower gel, deodorant etc) in addition to cash. His business is doing better since he moved premises, but it is nice to know he won't pong!

Ruth, hope u get to see JJ, give her all our live and tell her not to scare the locals!
