Evening everyone.
Not much Christmas prep done today, but am heading into town tomorrow so will price/possibly buy some more gifts.
Good news on the mystery film front though, I've found out what they are called:T
First one is Called Christmas Everyday - isn't scheduled to be shown yet according to the website though
Second one that I said Macauley Culkin was in is called Off Season........... turns out it isn't Macauley though it's his brother:o:rotfl:
I didn't know he had siblings, infact he has 2 brothers who are actors - and both have been in films that I have watched:rotfl:
One of them even starred in the Home Alone films with him!! He played Fuller lol.
It's amazing what you find out when you're on the internet:p
So yeah Open Season is set to record tomorrow night, if remember to keep the telly on and not switch it off at the plug:eek:Pay all debt off by Christmas 2025 £815.45/£3,000£1 a day challenge 2025 - £180/£730 Declutter a bag a week in 2025 11/52Lose 25lb - 10/25lbs Read 1 book per week - 5/52Pay off credit card debt 18%/100%0 -

Set to record Off Season-thanks. Surely if the tv is off at the plug, it can still record things? It's only if the sky box/video player/DVD recorder is unplugged that it wouldn't record?

Morning .
A lovely frosty start in Yorkshire today.
My job transfer is going ahead the interviews for the new staff are being held today and once sorted they will come to the branch I'm at for two weeks to train then we will all go to the new one.:j My work days will be changing I will be working weekends which I what I prefer.
On the Christmas front we are done just a delayed M&S order to collect and two miniature 's for the crackers and we are officially finished.
Food wise I think we will be having a salad so that can't be bought until days before and we have agreed we don't need to buy lots of sweets so I will just put some in their stockings DD is easy anything Galaxy or cola bottles but for my OH I've found a Devon company making fudge [that's where he is from] so I will order that late November.
I've been buying stuff for dd's 18th so that's progressing nicely.
Disabled ncis fan- sorry to hear about the seizure's and hope you get something sorted soon. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

Nic2075 – Ooo that sounds a fab idea for your sister, I may have to ‘borrow’ that idea for either my mum or dad as they are BOTH 50 next year and at the moment I am stumped. Our Christmas tree always goes up on December 1st with all the other decs. I have the day booked off from work and the day before I will get everything down ready
Disabled_nics_fan – WelcomeI think you can end up with some much more thought out gifts when you have a smaller budget!! You could maybe have a nosy what makeup item she uses and purchase one of those? Or as starlet1990 said you could to a gaming hamper – could always add some snacks in for whilst she is gaming!
Pinknfluffy28 – Glad that you have had your first day there, sorry it wasn’t quite spot on, fingers crossed it will get better.
Lulu – oh noit might be OK, maybe try a tiny bit and see what it tastes like!
Irishrose – It might not be Macauley but same family, close enoughWhat a lovely idea for your OH ordering some fudge from Devon
ChrissyG – Congratulations on the new job transfer.
Going to pick the cellophane up from my Mum's tonight and do some of the hampers, i'm struggling to resist until DecemberI have finished watching a Christmas film this morning before work, will have to start another one tomorrow :rotfl:
Finally know what we are getting for FIL, he needs a new work bag so going to get OH to pick one out - basically a sports bag is what they use but he can pick one he thinks his dad will like & suited to the job.
Work is terribly boring and we are all fed up, only 7 more months to go until leaving - something tells me i'll be knitting and reading books at work before we officially all leave *yawn*!!Christmas is the most magical time of the year :santa2:
Mum to two boys :heartpuls0 -

Hi kitkat,
I think that promotion's ended now, sadly. I bought mine mid September after receiving an email saying that there wasn't long left to get personalised bottles. It was described as a summer promotion.0
