i make her promise me she doesnt take it off at all until she is safely home its so far kept her safe in India and Peru, im such a nightmare mum haha
Was thinking about her this morning! Hope she has an amazing time, I am so jealous:o You're not a nightmare mum, just one who cares about her babies.A smile costs little but creates much0 -
Morning all, feels all cold and Christmassy here today (although I'm sure I was saying that in August). Have bought some more bits and pieces. I bought 2 of the roulette drinking game sets from Half Cost a few months ago for about £1.50 and have been thinking was to put with them. Anyway, yesterday in HB I saw mini jaeger sets, 2 little bottles and 2 shot glasses for £4.99 so have bought them to go with the games which hopefully my friend and step-nephew will enjoy!
Also, went to Debenhams to pick up a boys John Rocha top that someone had linked to on here (so thank you!) and ended up buying DH 2 John Rocha tops for £20. Plus I had just got a 10% voucher for picking up my collection so happy days! Also finished off my sisters present. I had bought her 6 books for £10 from the works and got her a cute nightie from Victoria's Secrets so it's a bit of a stay in and get comfie type present!
Anyway, I think that's going to be it for a while as I start my new job Monday and doubt I'll have much time. Ooh bets news though, I ordered my elf for 'elf on the shelf' and can't wait to get that all organised. Have a great day everyone x0 -

Had a message to from Baby boo this morning. How she remains so upbeat with all her health problems amazes me. She's be re admitted to hospital with a particularly nasty infectionand is in need of positive Elf and Elfette vibes the ones you lovelies are so very good at. I know that her silly fingers prevent her for posting as often as she'd like but she's always around. Lots of love Boo xxx

Hello Nan.
Honestly my rant would of kept you all reading for hours! It was about anything and everything and didn't make much sense as I was just writing down what I was thinking lol!
Any good deals Xmas wise at poundland going on? I have several age groups to buy from youngest will be 3 months child wise lol. No idea what to get my mum apart from a pandora charm. So need ideas there too.
I don't want to go overboard. I probably will but I shouldn't xNanMias - cyber granddaughter!

JJ - hope you're doing as well as can be. I've not seen much Christmas-wise in Poundland yet, there will likely be more once the Halloween things are out of the way. They did have some good books in though (I may have noticed OH taking my subtle hint and buying me one!) and you might get a find in the CDs/DVDs, technically they're second hand but if you can get the sticker off no one will know!
Nanamia - just wear all your clothes on to the plane and fill the bags with gifts!0 -

My GUAG has departed, after spending the day catching up with 2 months worth of business accounts (I still haven't finished the main business ones) I now have 2 hours 15 minutes to bake a tart, clean the flat and get ready for DH and his SB (smug brother) Birthday meal - really suffering with CBA

I loved cinnamon stick until a family member came in whilst it was burning and asked if we were having / had curry for our tea. 5 minutes later her husband came in and asked the same. I have a real issue/paranoia about the house smelling of savoury foods and so it has put me off a bit
Well my lovelies I have been very naughty and bought the Yankee advent house gift box. I was planning on getting it cheaper than the original £24 it was listed for back in September, but then the Yankee website sold out, our local candle shop sold out and the shop assistant told me they were limited edition and the price on ebay shot up, I made a panic buy lol. I'm hoping this will become a yearly tradition
Lol I was naughty and bought a Yankee advent house today as well. I really wanted one this year and was concerned that because it's limited edition and the Yankee candle website had sold out that I wouldn't be able to get one unless paying a lot of money. I paid £26 odd for it but had vouchers saved up on Amazon so technically it was free.0
