Evening everyone. Haven't been on here as much recently, real life has gotten in the way again

Not much Christmas prep has went on since I was on last. Apart from buying a S&G set in Boots and got £5 off thanks to the Boots app:T Although had to take it back as there were only 3 bits in it instead of 6:mad:

I've been searching the net for Elf on the Shelf ideas......... that FB group is a very dangerous page to go on to

One thing that I am searching for and cannot for the life of me find, is a poem that I had in this house and have lost :( It was a poem, which was in a Christmas Card from Santa that I bought for my nieces and nephews a few years ago and can't find anything like it now.
Will have to look in the local card shops and see if they still sell them as they aren't online :(

Hope everyone is keeping well, Glad to see some posters back with us :)

Evening everyone, haven't had much of a chance to post on here since my first post at the weekend, haven't done much Christmas prep this week, need to wait until payday which is next week!

One thing I have managed to do this week is bake the cookies in a Jar recipe that I've been testing out for OH's sisters Xmas present, I got the mix all made up and forgot to bake it! Baked it the next evening but I think being sat for a day didn't do it any favours as the cookies didn't turn out particularly well. Oh well will have to give it another go at some point. One bonus is that I worked out exactly which of my numerous collection of jars I will need to use to fit the recipe in perfectly.

I've been looking in shops for Xmas stuff on my travels, but I've found the various pound shops in my area are full of Halloween stuff. The one exception being my local home bargains in which I found some gorgeous diamante (sound awfully tacky but I'm determined to make them work! Haha) ornaments for my tree. I couldn't resist!

I haven't got loads left to do for Christmas now, apart from stuff that needs to wait until nearer the time (cooking etc) between me and OH there are loads of family birthdays in November (including mine) which I have to think about for this month.

Think that's just about it (for now!) I'll be back next post-payday armed with Christmas bargains no doubt!

    Jo xx
I'm usually using a phone, so excuse my spelling please!

Got this and 2 of the Christmas baubles for £5. Had a £5 off voucher for a £20 spend or more on S&G, and was also 3 for 2 so saved £10 in total :T Also had a voucher for 200 points when buying a Christmas gift and was able to use that too:T

I'm tempted with this years big one. Haven't decided if I definitely want it yet though lol. The one I bought this week is travel size bottles but the bag is lovely. There's also a good selection of stiff in ot for the price :)

Yes looks good- I like them all! I've got everything I want from boots for about £25- quite a haul so I'm happy.

One thing I noticed with the big one is there's no face cleaner or cleanser, unless I'm wrong!
