:D Hello all you christmassy lot! Loving how festive this thread is becoming , although I need more action than all the talk I am giving.
Where my head is so bad today I slept till 1pm on the sofa managed to be upright till 4pmish and went back to sleep till gone 7pm.

I heard from the hospital today and I am second on the list of the emergency bed thing , so maybe , hopefully tomorrow I shall be called up. Dreading the LP because of the traumatic thing last time - also more so dreading the possibility of more brain surgery , especially since now I have the epilepsy against me. Fingers crossed though it will all be fine , far worse stuff could be going on. x

Starting my open uni degree too , well trying to get my head around it lol. xx

Was woken early this morning with headache and funny tummy and feeling miffed because I'm doing festive shopping with DD today and want to be on top form. Logged on here to cheer myself up and read JJ's latest post. What on earth am I moaning about? Hope you get the emergency bed today JJ and that all goes well with the LP and more brain surgery isn't needed.

M&S have started putting out their Christmas bits down here. Musical biscuit tin is a Christmas Tree (again!) and there is a 'carousel' revolving tin. Not very inspired.

Boots have some clearance bits in the hair accessory department. Got a pack of 6 glittery clips for 88p and some Hello Kitty hair ties (lots) which had a £3 sticker on them but were only £1 on the SEL.

The Works had some sew your own tree decoration kits for £2.

Did someone say that the Argos Christmas catalogue was out?

this year do something that scares you for courage is not the absence of fear just the knowledge that some things are worth the risk

Not had time to look for a few days, wow things are really moving on! Xmas seems to be properly hitting the High Street now M&S and John Lewis have their Xmas shops open. M&S have some lovely little star shaped tins of chocs in their Food Hall too, ideal stocking fillers for £2. I have to do a reccy of Xmas trends and displays for work in next couple of weeks - oh, what a hard day's work that will be!

Can I join the Pinterest board that people are talking about? Do I need an invite or can I just search for it? That is such a good idea to do that.

Among other things, I'm taking the crackers to Xmas lunch this year, and have decided (perhaps foolishly) to do 'fill your own'. Have found the crackers, but now I need to sort the gifts. So far I'm thinking:

    - nail varnish (hope Dad doesn't win this one!)
    - miniature bottle
    - lottery scratchcard
    - toiletries
    - Lego mini figure
    - packet of seeds for the garden (this one for Dad!)
    - indiv choc from Thorntons or Hotel Choc

Any other ideas? I need 12

Essexbabe - For kids, do those little super-bouncy balls still exist?

Anyone else dying for the gift guides to come out so they can sit salivating over them all despite having already done all the buying?

Our BHS has got a lot of its Christmas gifts in now, boss lady will have a dizzy fit next Tuesday when she heads into town at lunch (she's on holiday in the sun at the moment) and walks through

(We're not allowed to mention Christmas until 1st December in our office - it's been a huge topic of conversation whilst she's been away)
