Because she's into baking and jam-making

How about a baking class or if she is very accomplished, some kind of specialist class or decorating day?

I'd be interested in a cooking class of some kind myself to be honest, but all the ones I've seen before are way too expensive and involve travel, overnight stays etc. We only spend about £20 on each parent!

Wonder if I can cheaply find a Mary Berry mask as a joke...

I do have one Christmas present bought, I got OH a gig ticket, and it's in December as well. And I've just ordered a CHRISTMAS JUMPER.

Thanks for the suggestions so far, hope you're all doing well with your preparations :)

M&S Christmas food range can be ordered from tomorrow - that's my sign that Xmas is on the way! :)

Does anybody recommend any alternatives for some decent food this Xmas?

what do you mean by alternatives Totality?

i do puff pastry mushroom tarts as veggie alternative
the vegans option is nutroast or a redwood meatfree roast with usual trimmings.
because there are only 3 meat eaters and oven space is at a premimum i by ready cooked meat slices in the 'flavour' they want and reheat it thoroughly by wrapping in foil with a little gravy so it doesnt dry out.

Have you checked groupon & the likes for baking/decorating/cooking classes? They do quite alot over different areas, also check out your local adult ed college, mine is doing a Halloween cupcake decorating class for about 30 quid this autumn so might having something you could book for her in the spring?

Just any other online food retailers I guess - anything other than the supermarkets who are worth checking out?
