newthrift enjoy investing your money wisely! I suppose a Chanel handbag isn't a good investment opportunity?! :p

vulpix the best way I know of putting a picture on here is to upload it to a website called Photobucket, then all you have to do is click on a link and paste it in here. I would tell you which link to copy but unfortunately I can't login at the moment to check.

We had a lovely day yesterday, wiggle was amazing and slept most of the time which made it easier to eat our afternoon tea! The only trouble we're having now is his night time sleeping, at one stage he was going 3-4 hours, we even had 6 hours in there once, but now he's gone right back to waking up every 2-2.5 hours, you can set your clock by it. It's been going on for over a week now. I keep reading that they're supposed to go longer as they get older!

Sometimes its one step forward, two steps back, sometimes they just are having a growth spurt. Could wiggle be a bit cool now nights are getting colder? Can put a knitted cardi on with pjs x

Our baby is still unwell but getting better. Had a horrible rash yesterday!
Sold two baby halloween costumes on fb yesterday and a bundle of baby boy's clothes at the weekend. Bit of space and a few extra pennies. Halloween costumes were lovely (DS1 wore them as a 7 month old) and would have sold for more on ebay probably but not worth the fees and time spent on p&p. Also sold a christmas baby outfit on ebay last week, it was new with tags from Disney store so worth the bother. Trying to declutter.
Had a young family view our house at the weekend. (our first viewing) They loved it, so are putting their house on the market this week.
2016 MFW OPd £2000, 2015 MFW OPd 3000 then bought new bigger house with bigger mortgage.

  • After a lot of googling, and looking at different patterns for all sorts, in all different stitches. I made a decision, to go simple, attempting the purl bee's artic wrap... I need more wool! Well always knew I'd need more wool, but I need more colours... and some way to get brown to turn into blue :/ hmmm I'm half tempted to go the other way and not go for a sophisticated dip dyed look that the pattern is designed for but go for completely crazy colour switches and get some mustard and grey to mix in... decisions decisions...

I googled the Laughingbird scarf, beautiful! Far beyond my capabilities!

    vulpix Love the snowmen!!

PRINCESSKITTY the only thing i can think of does he need more milk? that is usually how you know they need more when they start waking up after sleeping more some nights, glad you had a lovely afternoon out, well done wiggle for being a good boy for mummy :D

MRSMONEYPENNY oh im so sorry you have another person close to you who is so very ill, keep strong, sending hugs

PIGPEN oh wow that looks very warm, your sister will love it

Ed-P they both look lovely to me and i think it is very thoughtful of you, but i probably would go with the other ladies advice and have a snoop at what she uses and get an idea of her likes/favourites, as if you bought the lotion she might not like the fragrance, it is a minefield im afraid and it would be awful if it just sat on the side wasted because she didnt want to upset you by saying she didnt like it, women huh!!

IRISHROSE oh sending hugs to you honey what a bu**er of a day!

PIXTOTTS i have joined on pinterest thankyou, glad it was good news about your tooth

    BLACKBEARDOFPERRANPORTH thanks for the link

I need to find flower bulbs which aren't poisonous to dogs.

Thanks all for the help and comments re pics. Rudolphs are chocolate orange and snowmen are Aldi milkyway type sticks.Yes the hats are the fingers off gloves with a pompom stuck on,the scarves are the hand bit left over, just can't think of a purpose for the elasticated cuff ! Apart from fabric recycling for hospice shop.

So now the hard part, what should I charge?

Heck no.. as if they eat dog food!! One of her furry clowns digs up everything and eats it.. she is a bit insane.. I'm going with a big lavender shrub I think.. now to source one lol.. I do like to give myself these challenges!

ETA.. I went with lavender.. it smells nice, reminds my mother of her deceased mother (10 years this December.. where has that time gone??)

    Morning All :)
Not much to report in here Christmas related. I am enjoying seeing the pinterest board taking shape, some fab ideas!! Tonight I will be putting together my brothers movie night (with a CD too - which is the only thing he requested) style hamper as it's his birthday tomorrow, he will be 22! Then I might actually put together MIL's birthday gift as that is all of them before Christmas done then.
I too am scarf knitting but just a very basic 'knit' scarf as i'm not as talented as some of you lot!! This time its not an arm knit one, but hoping to have a couple of these one's ready for the gift evening next week - all being well.

Sending happy vibes for those in need!
Christmas is the most magical time of the year :santa2:

Thank you for replying. I guess I will have to be sneaky and find out what she would want. Girls really are difficult to buy for!
