  • Hi all
I don't usually pop in mid week but I have just been to Asda and noticed tha Yankee candles- large jar- are £13.
They also have YC reed diffusers for £12 each.
Not sure how much of a bargain this is but sure the candles are usually £19.99 each.
    Do I buy or not?????????
    xx

Oh dear, I wrote earlier that I had all the Christmas presents sorted for my grandchildren but then I saw two more bargains (a Tonka town prison and Disney Planes Propwash Junction) which I have reserved from Argos - just under a tenner for both. I have got to stop looking at the deals site. Luckily it is the little one's birthday coming up in one month but I already bought him a Bananas in Pyjamas toy (another bargain of course).

Seriously, I think I have to stop now.

We are not doing Christmas at our house this year so I don't have to hunt for table presents for all the adults but I will really miss doing that actually.

Maybe I can help my daughter (who is doing Christmas lunch this year and is very busy) by looking out for bargains. It is so addictive.

Would your daughter mind if you offered to do the table gifts?

Sorry I've not been on for a couple of days. Not been feeling great. Slept most of Tuesday.
I've decided to have another big clear out this weekend. There is still stuff in the house we don't need or use.
I was joking with the kids last night about when they move out I will move into the caravan with Mia. But you know the more I think about it the more I think I may actually do it. There is a site here that let's you stay on it for the whole year. It is opposite a large Tescos and a nature reserve.
Obviously I'm talking about in years to come, and they may never leave. But if they do I will really think about it. I'm not sentimental about any of my stuff. I'd sell it all tomorrow if I had to.

To be honest I'm quite looking forward to it. :D
  • Can I just say, OMO is a genius! :j

She has made a doggie lead holder and it is stunning!

Thank you, could have PM'ed but thought I would share the joy :D

Apparently Hamleys have released what they think will be the top 10 presents for children this Christmas. Not cheap most of them either!

Gosh I'm glad I've got cats and won't have to deal with pester power from July onwards:D

    Good Afternoon.
Where is the time going???!!! I have been reading daily but have been quite busy so not just had chance to post - plus nothing over interesting or Christmas related (housework, work and ironing what fun :p) - this reminds me some more ironing to do later
freespirit - please pass my best wishes to nanamia when you next speak!!
whitesatin - I hate to feel silly, but can I ask what sort of thing you do for table gifts?:o
nitnurse - I don't think that is too bad, but before you buy just hop on to Clintons website and check how much they work out too as I think they were on offer last week and may still be :)

I have read through over a couple of days and have now forgotten some other bits I was going to mention so I apologize for having a brain like a sieve!!
Our allotment is looking well, I missed watering it yesterday as I didn't have enough time but going today with 'miracle grow' too in the hope it will help boost them a little ;)...well it has on my grandad's so I am borrowing his idea :rotfl:
Hopefully tomorrow I will get 5minutes to sit with my Christmas binder again and jot down some more idea's and put some more gift selections together only 181days 8hours 32mins to goooo:rudolf:
Christmas is the most magical time of the year :santa2:
