This has tickled me!!!:rotfl:
Glad the car passed OMO, I am going for my first trip to the range tomorrow, hoping to find bits I need.
linz :Twell done!! I feel I am dragging my heels abit compared to some of you. Going to get all the birthday presents left for the year done and wrapped I think then I can go full on Christmas (although I am always thinking that will be good for Christmas)Christmas is the most magical time of the year :santa2:
Mum to two boys :heartpuls0 -
Yay for the car passing OMO, I can't wait to see your dog lead hangers!
We have another estate agent coming round in a bit, we've been on for over a month and not a single viewing. I know our area is pricey (we were lucky enough to buy with a government scheme before DH was medically retired) but I can't believe we haven't had a single viewingthe estate agent I spoke to yesterday was shocked. She has three other flats (one just sold) in our block and she said they average a few views a week each. Fingers crossed we have more luck!
On the Christmas front I'm making DH do surveys. He's not happy, but with both two businesses and caring for him and a part time job about to start, I just don't have the time. Plus we badly need the pennies for Christmas.[/COLOR]2024 Challenges

Afternoon All
OMO I'm glad your car passed , what a relief for you! Fortunately my hubby worked for vauxhall for 12 years so if we have any car problems he always fixes them, although I have a lease car now which I find a lot easier :-)
Feistywe will be shortly putting our home on the market but I have been looking on right move and there's nothing that takes my fancy so I'm reluctant to put mine up for sale just yet....we will be lucky with our house as we bought it for such a cheap price, if we get what it's was valued at last year we would make 46k on it!!!!you can imagine the pound signs in my eyes haha!
Can you imagine my excitement when I went to Hb's this afternoon and found this lot?! My Santa senses were certainly tingling!
Also got a 1D toothpaste bottle for my two older nieces to go with their christmas presents (anything to get them to brush their teeth haha!) and they love anything 1D!0 -

Hello all,
Hope you're all well and the sun is shining. Hugs to those who need one xx
Trying to decide today what to buy Hubby for his birthday next month. Toying with 3 ideas:
- lawnmower (carpy present but he has just blown ours up!)
- dab radio and some smellies as a relax n bathe hamper (just had new bathroom fitted)
- voucher for a wildlife boat trip for when we go away to Wales (but worried the weather might not be good the week we go)
Swaying towards the DAB radio idea but he does need a new lawnmower0 -
mrs-moneypenny so sorry to hear about your mum-in-law and that it wasn't discovered sooner. I'm sure you're doing your very best and she couldn't ask for more. Sending you lots of positive vibes.
Feisty thanks so much for the link to that website - it's awesome! Great idea. Good luck with the new estate agent - I really hope this one comes through for you. Hopefully DH might get more motivated as he sees the points balance going up! Are you doing Nectar ad points as well?
OMO good luck with the dog lead hooks, looking forward to seeing a finished product! Yay for your car and happy 21st to DS for tomorrow!
linz4383 way to go! You are very organised, I am getting inspired!
quidsy it's fab finding bargains and coming in under budget, that's what's great about this group - we strive to find the bargains and do the best that we can rather than live in denial until it's too late and end up spending a fortune!
freespirit I know how your DD feels, when people offer to do things for me I always feel lazy rather than thinking that I really do need the help. That's a great gift from your son, are you enjoying it? Do you think it's helping? Sorry you woke up feeling rubbish today, I hope you're feeling better as the day has gone on and that grandnib behaved itself today!
hismissus the DAB radio sounds good - and you can enjoy it too!
Well I finally finished reading the Twilight series (only about 6 years after everybody else! :rotfl:) and the next book in my pile was a Christmas one. Usually I don't read Christmas books until at least October but as I pretty much missed Christmas last year i've decided to treat myself and immerse myself in it early! It's 'Calling Mrs Christmas' by Carole Matthews. I'm excited!0 -
OMO Birthday wishes to your DS.
Freespirit The hospital might not tell you the sex of the baby as they don't want to be sued if they get it wrong.A good life is when you assume nothing, do more, need less, smile often, dream big, laugh a lot, and realise how blessed you are.

I am starting to panic that I am posting daily quotes twice. If you see one that I have already done, please let me know.
I just can't look through 150 pics on photo bucket every night checking if I have repeated myself.0
