Afternoon everyone,
I AM DEBT FREE AS OF TODAY
I am sitting here crying with happiness (not doing my head any good at all) i have finally paid off the last of the debts, today is my DEBT FREE DAY thanks to my kids, i can now put their rents down over a hundred pounds each! We were left with huge debts from exH :mad: he couldnt control his spending on stupid things from day one, one such purchase was an American truck £6000 that he just chucked on a credit card  it wasnt even 0% i mean who does that?? so i have actually been in debt nearly 27 years, i am terrified!! Ironically today would have been my 27th wedding anniversary so quite a good date to be rid of it all
GETTINGTHEREQUICKLY i might look into them
MRSMONEYPENNY you too have a good weekend
AMEYTURTLE it is weird about the gas isnt it?? Oh dear i sympathise i have had this since Tues, DS has just bought me some migraine tabs to try and get rid but it is still there  i hope yours goes soon x fab result about not having cancer you must be so relieved, hope you get it sorted though, my DD1 suffers from that and sometimes is in terrible pain.
CAZ i have just been looking but i am going to be good
PRINCESSKITTY its so hard isnt it when you know they have that name all through their life! DD1 and OH pretty much agreed on a girls name straight away but not on the boys but she has given in to himhaha. Ooh thanks i love those emery boards, am going to have a nose on the site now

:T:T:TWhoopee! Freespirit:T:T:TFantastic news:T:T:Tand it sounds like an appropriate date too:T:T:T
I've decided to go with plan c for Hubby's birthday - the vouchers to use on holiday as I looked into DAB radios to use in the bathroom and decent ones were a touch too expensive for my budget (bought Hubby a tablet last month as an early present so he will only moan if I spend too much) and apparently he said he wouldn't appreciate a lawnmower :rotfl:0 -

Let the party begin :j Treat yourself to something you wouldn't ordinarily buy.
The feeling of being debt free is amazing, difficult to believe, a bit like when I clean my windows, hate the job, but keep going from room to room afterwards to make sure it is real!!!!!!:oA smile costs little but creates much0 -
:j:j:jWoohoo freespirit that's amazing news!! :j:j:j I cannot say how happy I am for you! :T:T:T I cannot imagine how frustrating it has been over the years paying off someone's else's debt but you have done amazingly well, and it sounds like you've pulled together as a family - what a lovely family. I hope a great weight has shifted from your shoulders. I got into some debt when I was younger and it was a wonderful feeling on the day I finally paid it all off! So many times it didn't feel like that was every going to happen but it finally came around!
Oooh pixtotts you'll have to give us the link to your shop! :T I like the idea of having chickens but not sure I could manage it in real life! Good luck to you.Glad you liked the nail files, great service too - I only ordered them yesterday and they arrived today!
I'm feeling quite strange this afternoon - I left work for good today! I'm planning to spend the next couple of years bringing up the baby, but as my company is closing down and I was made redundant it was quite emotional leaving earlier knowing that I wouldn't be going back. I am very much looking forward to what's to come but I can't help feeling a bit strange, I've continuously had a job for 16 years and now all of a sudden I don't! I'm sure once the baby arrives I will be non-stop 24/7 and I wont even think about it, I think i'll be ok in a few days. I loved the company I worked for and it's a real shame it was taken over and the new company are just taking the business and not the people hence shutting us down, i'm quite a sentimental fool and can't help going through all of my memories. Still, I can't change anything so I must move onwards and upwards!0 -

Freespirit Many congratulations! :j
PrincessKitty Sorry to hear of your redundancy but do make the most of your time before the baby comes along. Hopefully you will manage to find another job (after spending some time with the little one, of course)
Hope everyone is keeping well and enjoying the wonderful weather.A good life is when you assume nothing, do more, need less, smile often, dream big, laugh a lot, and realise how blessed you are.

Huge congrats with bells and knobs on freespirit! You are an absolute superstar and I can't help but feel in awe of how far you have come in this last year. Your children are an absolute credit to you, and you can see where they get their amazing nature from; you. Enjoy it my lovely xxx
Just popping in to say I will be off for a week, as I have done something extremely big for me. All the businesses are closed, my online shops and ebay have all their items removed and we are going into the countryside where there is no phone signal and no internet. My apps are being deleted (in-case of miracle phone signal) and we are taking refuge in a lovely cottage with a private garden. I have stocked up on 3 thick library books, have my nintendo DS, sun cream, sunglasses and plan to have an amazing time with DH and the dogs. Life can be too short, and we are still focusing on making memories
I hope you are all well, and I will 'see' you when we are home.
Oh, also we have an (bloody expensive) appointment with a private fertility specialist on Friday, so please wish us luck and sprinkle some very much needed (sticky) baby dust! xxx[/COLOR]2024 Challenges
Live in the moment more and appreciate the small things0
