    Ive seen this http://www.buyagift.co.uk/Gifts/Three-Month-Curry-Recipe-Kit-Subscription-BR-1078683.aspx?cm_sp=Product_List-_-1-_-1078683&cm_re=1078683-_-1-_-Product_List

it would be great for my mum and her boyfriend but I wondered if there was a way to do this cheaper? A homemade curry hamper?

    Evening everyone,
I am very happy tonight, i am watching the world cup and just realised this is the first one since i split from exH, :T i can watch the whole months football without someone saying 'oh not this **** again' 'oh !!!!!! turn it over will ya' 'do you have to have it on every game' :T:T:T:T:T

CHIRPYCHICK thanks for that link the prices on my wishlist go up and down like a yoyo, i like that curry idea but like you say could you do it cheaper as a hamper with the spices and a recipe book??

HISMISSUS/PRINCESSKITTY/3FORHOLIDAYS haha sorry i thought most people were familiar with it, as MOTHERNERD says it is a job, a phonecall, paperwork, anything really that you keep putting off and putting off the longer you do the more you dont want to do it, then when you finally get it done, you have built it up into this massive thing that actually isnt and is done quickly, and then you feel massive relief that you have achieved it (and wish you had done it sooner).

HISMISSUS Im sorry you havent been feeling that great lately and it is definitely what we all do retreat into our own shell to deal with whatever life is throwing at us, i hope you start feeling more like your old self soon, we are always here if you need to rant or talk, i think of this thread as my daily tonic :)

PRINCESSKITTY yes that is me to a T :rotfl:haha why do we do it over and over? Like you say perhaps that is just us, and then you get people like your DH, that is just them :) well i said i was worried about DD2 overdoing it her physiotherapist today told her no more stripping wallpaper above her head height she is making her neck/shoulder worse and then she was sick and felt faint/really unwell at work and had to leave early :( (i think some of it is this heat) it has been horribly hot and muggy here today so i have made her promise to calm it down. I have been following the pregnancy threads on here and a lot of the girls have said that NCT classes are really good for making friends, in fact some of them are joining for this reason only, so hopefully you will meet some really nice people and have some friends for your baby too.

MOTHERNERD i hope your leg doesnt take too much longer to get better, i can understand you feeling so frustrated, sending you hugs :)

OMO haha like that quote, i can think of a few people that suits (miaowww)

    morning all
    hope everyone is well
yesterday will not go down as the best day ever but onward and upward and all that.
hospital appt were as expected (feared) yesterday with 2 more arranged over next couple of weeks. So i will be on supporting duty for the considerable future, thank you for the vibes and support.

DS1 went to a concert with DD2 and partners, he had his phone nicked along with about 20 other people, i was on baby sitting duty and expecting them back about midnight so the call to say mum theres been an incident were all ok but at the police station was rather alarming! turned out everyone who had their phones nicked got together in some kind of jovial angry mob after someone traced their phone with a tracker app. they decided safety in numbers and all stuck together, 5 police cars turned up an arrest was made and an orderly queue formed at the local police station to file reports make statements and claim said phones. must say all credit to the local police who seem to have dealt with it very well and let everyone reclaim the phones after paperwork was done rather than them having to travel all the way back to get them from evidence later. so i was finially relieved of my little sleeping charges at about 3AM!!! how DS1 and DD2 partner are going to cope at work today on no sleep i dont know, im running on strong black coffee and have decided i deserve a large glass at wine o'clock tonight.

freespirit plan is to go post office on monday, so books should be with you late next week.

hugs and good wishes where needed.

im off to top up my caffiene levels

I am officially starting my Christmas shopping

Sportsdirect have some really cute kiddie bits on clearance. Character headphones, cute gardening sets & a lot of Chelsea FC tat & some badges & stickers to make a start on ds Christmas hamper. I've warned the post room, so it's time to start proper gift hunting.

Oh MRSMONEYPENNY what a horrible day all round, glad DS got his phone back there and then, how on earth did they manage to nick them all at once? Pickpocketed? You sound as if the next few weeks are going to very full on for you, please make sure you look after yourself as even being the supporter it does take it out of you, maybe wine o'clock a few more evenings ;) yes that is lovely whenever you have time.

PIXTOTTS glad your meal was lovely, you have been very busy this week, hopefully after the fair it will all slow down again

QUIDSY ooh i might go have a nose at Sports Direct thankyou
