OMO wow your CV fund has shot up! Well done, great achievement. I really must learn how to sell on Facebook!

Feisty so glad to hear you enjoyed your evening out. I think vouchers as presents are a great idea - especially with difficult people! I am never disappointed to receive vouchers, gives me an excuse to go shopping. :D Sorry to hear you haven't had any viewings yet but stay positive. I think you've already had lots of survey site suggestions but just in case I though i'd mention that I do really well with Ipsos, I build points really easily and have also had free full size samples of products to try.

Freespirit and nitnurse you are so organised! Great to hear and you're inspiring me! I've always wanted to buy all of my cards for the year at the beginning of the year so I don't run around like a headless chicken buying a card and trying to post it in time, so next year might be the year....

Mojoworking I hope your cold clears up soon. I can't say I ever come across ping pong balls, but if I do I will let you know!

Pixtotts I hope the people pay up soon! It's frustrating having to wait for payment. Hope you enjoyed your pina colada!

CazD2008 wishing you lots of luck with the fertility treatment, I really hope this works for you and that you get an early Christmas present. x

Nanamia welcome back! What a lovely view, I hope you had a wonderful time and are well rested.

B_e_g I hope the blood test goes well, these things are never pleasant!

I hadn't been on my Pinterest boards for ages but I had a look last week, there's so many good ideas on there that I must do/implement! I'm going to make it a new goal soon that I have to do one of these ideas at least once a month, I am so guilty of pinning lots of things but then never going back to them!:o

    morning all
    welcome back nanamia
    omo you are doing fantastically
beg hope the tests go well
pixitotts, someone tried to steal our road from our avon lady she reported it to her boss and the other person had to stop leaving their books in her street. (from what i understand she gained a few extra customers as she knocked and asked if they wanted an avon order as she was the street rep and not the person who had left the books so they mostly gave her their orders.
hope everyone is well sorry if ive missed anyone

Nanamia - welcome back! Looks a beautiful place :)
BEG - hope your tests go well!!
Freespirit - Ahh that was a shame about the brownie layer! Yes I very much am, picking him up at approx 2pm :j
Pixitotts - hope you get it sorted and get your customers back!

Work is horrendous!! Things keep breaking, customers shouting and this morning my mouse stopped working so I plugged in the 'plug-in' mouse and when coming back up whacked my head on my desk and it now feels a little bruised :(

freespirit66 - your right, Avon you are allocated streets and not supposed to wander unless family, friends, or they ask you for a book... Well this lady also does kleeneze, which has no territory, so she's taking her kleeneze books to new places getting orders then when she takes their next book shes also taking a Avon book and claiming they are friends as they are kleeneze customers :( boo! Means she's reaching out into others peoples areas all over the place :(
mrs-moneypenny - thanks :) hopefully it works out as well for me as it did for your rep. It does give me an excuse to recanvas I guess, put out I'm your real rep letters with books see if any that said they didn't want any before have changed their mind :)

The Pina Colada was good :D I think they are my favourite :D

Todays a busy one, I've posted parcels, 2 different places because one was parcelshop and the other was collect+ ! I didn't know so many places existed , was finally able to get rid of that big ebay box though :D she will be happy it was posted in less than half an hour after she paid lol.
I went checking on my Avon streets again checking where exactly she had dropped books.
Then I went for a run luckily it stopped raining just as I got there :)
Now bath time, then fetch sis from college, then WI tonight... I need my bed already! lol
    X
I hope you know your capable, & brave, & significant.
even when it feels like your not....
  • Been thinking! I know that is dangerous, but was thinking about how organised OMO is with her links etc, so was wondering, and please don't kill me (!) do you have a timeline list somewhere on when things should be done, if poss, to reduce pressure.

I know that shopping is throughout the year and we all strictly adhere to that :D, but what about everything else?

I have made my first Christmas cake of the year and plan to have all ready to mature by end of Sept, so that will be one job out of the way, but what about everything else?

I'm sure most of us have Christmas cards bought already, so shall we all aim to have them written by end of August, maybe 1 or 2 a week which we won't notice time wise, but would notice 1/2 a day if all done together?

Any other suggestions? For obvious reasons, time can't be rigid, but if there was a guide to enter on calender, should help make for a chilled, smug December:rotfl:

    GTC - that's not a bad idea!!
I always spend 1st December doing my Christmas decorating around the house, if I should be at work I book the day off as I love having Xmas songs & films on whilst doing it.
Last week of November decorating Xmas cake.
End Oct/Beginning Nov Xmas cards written. I don't have too many so this is fab for me. Sept I make sure I have all my Xmas gifts and then go for a big shop day for any last bits I don't have + I then sort everything in to bags with peoples name (just carrier bags). Beginning December I spend a couple days wrapping presents for me doing it then is perfect as my OH sometimes ends up odd late nights working in the garage so I pop something Christmassy on TV and do it then. I try to food shop for anything that won't go off for actual Xmas day/week from September (meal plan is already done basic so will review & amend as I see fit nearer the time. As we don't have children yet and don't have masses of cards ect doing everything when I do fits in great but I know a lot of people will need to be doing most of this a lot earlier, but this is just what works for us (at this time, I'm sure once we have children it will change and I will be doing some of this earlier in the year)!

OH is home, so glad he is back :D he had a nice time but said a couple of them were just awful but overall it was a good time so I am glad! Time for tea soon as beef has been in the slow cooker all day YUM YUM!
