fesity have a lovely evening :)
I'm ready for a nap today, was up at 3am to drop OH off for a stag weekend in abroad. Had a little cry when I got home, we haven't spent a weekend apart before, so I will be happy when Monday rolls round!! Got two loads of washing to hang out but just going to have 10 mins.
Then cleaning the kitchen to do!

Don't panic if the CV fund doesn't go up in the next week. I'm having a break from selling on FB.
I just need some normality in my life. I am so tired of running round like a headless chicken.
Am collecting dd from work at 9.30 then I'm off to bed.

Don't push yourself too hard Omo, you're so fab, I know you will get there! Well done for deciding on a break :)

Well we had a lovely evening, although DH decided that the ambience and food did not match the huge price tag lol sadly he struggled through most of the meal as was in quite a lot of pain. His sleep apnea has been awful these last few days, so is running on empty :( I picked him up some herbal nytol, then got home to realise it isn't suitable for takers of beta blockers doh!

The LBD went down well, and I felt amazing in it. A work friend and a neighbour had asked me to post a photo on Facebook, as they wanted a nosy at whole ensemble. I'm not one for selfies, so felt a right tit posing and posting, but I did get some lovely comments that definitely boosted my ego ;)

    Love the quote OMO!
Good morning everyone, I had an amazing nights sleep for once and feel that I must have hogged the sleep fairy!
Well DH and I have been trying to get out and do more stuff since his diagnosis, and have started a date night. Tonight, for the first time ever (well 12 and a half years) we are going to a posh restaurant for dinner!
I figured that although I seem too constantly be saving, we never have anything to show for it. So now it's lots of treats for us :) I can finally wear my posh LBD that has been hanging fully tagged in my wardrobe for almost two years lol

FEISTY i was going to say have a fab time but you have already been, glad you enjoyed it and got to wear your lbd and you have had lots of compliments we all need a boost now and then :D sorry DH is in so much pain still, i dont know what the latest diagnosis is but i hope his pain can be sorted, sending hugs to you both
Good morning. (well, it better had be being as the sleep fairy gave me an early start), lots of little bits to do this time, jobs that are nearly finished should get their final polish and put away. Then I can go and get my currency for china and start to pack.
Feisty, hang in there, sending hugs, hope that things may improve for you.
Freespirit, grr to your ex and double grr to the bank (tell them to take it out of the bonus pot!)
Mrs MP your poor DS, not nice to get glandular fever, (although they do call it the kissing disease, )
Mrs G so sad for your friends little girl.
My wee beautician friend is having a tough time healthwise too, she is being investigated for bowel problems (has a family history of Crohns disease) and also a breast lump that is defying the rules and won't be diagnosed, (2 needle biopsies and a core biopsy have not yielded enough cells to test fully) .
OMO keep coming with the quotes, I love them, and the phone, it is tres posh. Will look perfect in your super caravan, go you!

MRSINVISIBLE so sorry your poor friend has all these health troubles and worries, hope she gets the right diagnosis soon, must be nearly time to go soon :D very exciting

OMO im not surprised you need a break from it all, it sounds totally manic but totally fab results

NEWTHRIFT you have a fab weekend and spoil yourself rotten, monday will soon be here :)

feisty - glad you enjoyed your evening but sorry to hear your DH is in pain! I'm sure you looked fabulous in your LBD - a girls best friend :)
OMO - you deserve a break you have been like a selling machine, I imagine it has been mayhem!
    freespirit - thank you :)

I went for tea with my dad last night and then we went to my mum who was at a wedding reception and had a drink with her, I then came home and watched telly for abit, had a text from OH and I slept until 5.30am:eek: so I can see a nap coming up this afternoon (although yesterday's 10 minutes turned in to nearly 2 hours, I must of needed it though). Mopping the kitchen, wages and cleaning the bathroom today and bedroom too if I get time.
One more load of washing to do but I can hear the rain beginning to start so might wait til tomorrow as it is meant to be a nice day.
Tomorrow I want to organise our spare room and update my Christmas gift lists.

    200 days to go people!

Well I had planned for a lazy day for this horrific storm. It all went very dark at about half eight and nothing. Its still dark and had a few spots of rain but no golfball sized hail no hail no thunder no llightening. The harry potter fest is still happening but a bit guilty as I could be doing a million and one things!!

Omo you hav amassed a huge total I couldn't have generated that much extra income it is amazing. Anyway back to the chamber of secrets . . .

Afternoon, hope you are all ok? Apologies for appearing and disappearing again. I've had a lot on with work and never seem to have much time.
I'm starting to feel more positive, think its because Christmas is on its way :p. seriously though, this is when I start my Christmas crafting, it makes me feel so much better about things. X

  • Glad you had a good evening Feisty and the LBD was being modelled!

Intended to make my first Christmas cake last night, but as it was my first night in this week, decided to be lazy:eek: Slept until 8:30 this morning, feel really guilty but must have needed it.

Made up for things though, made the cake, have done 4 loads of washing, housework, sorted out some boxes, rescued the avon order from the car (for that, read remembered to take it out of the boot:D). Th spiced candle smell delish

Need to do the ironing and get the ingredients soaking for the bracks I need to make, then maybe I will get a chance to have a stew in the bath and chill out before I get the oven on tomorrow to make the bracks & flapjacks.

    Hope you all doing splendidly.
