  • Mrs I, Lidl have flight pillows for £5, I paid £15 last year for virtually identical. They are fab, really comfy & supportive, may be of use for China flight?

    Freespirit, go you!

I spent hours on Pinterest last night looking at homemade Christmas gifts, I just struggled to find anything that either didn't look cheap/tacky or was something that the recipient would actually appreciate.

My lot are so difficult to buy for, it really stresses me out :( I'm actually quite tempted to get the difficult lot vouchers ;) less stress, less hassle and at least I know they can get something they like ;) x

Does anyone know the best survey sites to get vouchers from? I know it's a bit late in the day, but if I can get DH to complete these, it may for a persons voucher :)

Gettingtherequickly thanks for the info, unfortunately our lidl has closed down, but I have a neck support bead pillow which is light enough to carry, and a blow-up in-flight pillow, one or the other should help. I need to download a few books onto the kindle and some Sudoku too.
Feistyfidget, Christmas vibes are the best sort. Yes, I agree about the vouchers for the awkward brigade. My most difficult one is my DDIL as she wants nothing, no hobbies and it needs to be able to be carried back to China, but as she appreciates the effort that goes into it I like to try. Hence the night in the hotel for her and DS1.
I must start to pack today, but somehow I feel a bit overwhelmed by it. This is not usual, so it must be my age.
Went shopping with DD yesterday, not so cheap as last time, but hey, got her some lovely leather boots and a pair of nice jeans and got change from £40, so not too bad. (outlet shopping can be rewarding, and she bought us afternoon tea on the way home.
Oh, booger, my lawnmower is busted, the drive belt snapped, I have ordered a new one (belt, not mower) hope it gets here in time for me to get the grass cut before Thursday. xxxx

freespirit66- I admire your will power! If I bought a chocolate orange now I'd have to buy it 10 times over because I would keep eating it!:O They are my most favourite thing ever :D
One of my friends bought her boyfriend 3 easter eggs... she ate the first 2 before easter! lol

FeistyFidget - I actually LOVE getting vouchers :D I tend to use vouchers (and nectar/boots points) to buy things that I'd usually talk myself out of. Like I had some cinema vouchers, so rather than using them for the film, because I'd usually pay that anyway, I use them to treat myself to popcorn and a drink instead which usually I'd skip :). I have about £10 left on a next one sat in my purse waiting for the sales :D
Oh and survey sites to get vouchers I've had payouts from panelbase.net in the past love2shop vouchers :) I also use Qmee, and get pence on searches which I withdraw to paypal when it gets to couple of £'s

FEISTY your homemade gifts look very professional, i cant see them looking tacky at all :) but i do agree about vouchers they are so much less stressful and everyone loves to spend on themselves, sites i use are Valued Opinions, MyVoice, Pinecone Research, OnePoll, Nectar (you get points but you can buy vouchers in sainsburys)

PIXTOTTS haha i have done that loads of times when buying the kids easter eggs :rotfl:hopefully i will forget about them :)

MRSINVISIBLE hope you have a productive day today and get your packing sorted

ETA DD1 is back so off i go baking

Your all so organised! I am jealous!

I'm a bit bummed this weekend, I have things I sold on E-bay that haven't been paid for so now they are all boxed up and I keep tripping over them! They are big heavy boxes which hurt my toes!!! :(
And someones poaching my Avon streets, damn Kleeneze lady! :(

Plus though I have just got a pina colada slushy thingy out of the freezer :D
