Nanamia, enjoy your lovely and well deserved holibobs, and don't forget the sunscreen.
OMO nhyah nhyah to the facebook moron man, and yaaay to the caravan fund.
Freespirit get well migraines are the pits, euch.
JJ waddaya mean, electric shocks? plural, after shock singular you should've stopped and got it checked out, MrsI wags finger at JJ and shakes head despairingly, then gives a big cyberhug! seriously hun, take care of your self.
Our summer is this week, 3 dry and sunny days in a row, wow. I have run out of things to wash and hang out on line, so I will have to re-wash clean stuff! (I can't bear the idea of sunny weather and no line of washing)
Had a day off yesterday and went mooching round town with DD, spent the grand total of £1 49p on a drink (used a loyalty card for the other drink) and had a lovely time.
Getting ready for trip to China, the countdown has started, 13 days to go, and the suitcase has been located and the vacuum bags are ready. Everything on DDILs list have been purchased/acquired, and visa has been granted..........woooooohoooooooo.

laptop thanks for everyone's concerns RE my shocking laptop lol! I think I used the wrong charger and it was to high voltage or some thing , seems logical. My dad makes laptops and fixes them so he will check it and go from there. Using iPad in mean time.

I can't remember for the life of me who asked about my referral, I got the appointment through for August. I am excited and nervous. Lots of travelling but hope its worth it!

    Hope everyone is well! Xxxx

  • Well, survived Friday night, eventually got home about 3 on Sat morning, have to read, so it was about 4 when I put light out, but forgot to switch alarm off, so I had no idea what was ringing in my ear at 6:30 :eek: I had to be up by 8 anyway as I had to help out at a function. Was glad to hit my bed last night.

Have any of you applied for the Nivea body lotion samples? I cheat a bit for things like this as I use both my work & home email addresses and delivery addresses (am really lucky for work) Anyway, sample sachets arrived on Friday and Saturday and to my complete surprise, there were 5 sachets in each envelope. Ideal for anyone thinking of doing overnight hampers or something like that.

Hope all going well for everyone, MrsI, very jealous. My aunt is teaching English there at the moment and I was going to go there over Easter. Was told not to pay anymore than £800ish for the flight. My options were £2,500 or £900. Would have paid the £900 but then discovered the return element was going to take 36hrs:eek:. Had to give up on that : Really want to go.

Freespirit it's because we live in a small town which a lot of people don't leave. I can buy cushions in Primark in London, use them for a year, then sell them for what I paid.
I once bought dd 4 pairs of DM style boots up there, and she sold them all a year later for the same money. x

Although I am running out of things to sell. I will have to raid my Dads soon. :rotfl:
Just remembered I haven't been in the trailer yet . :D

ETA - have another £80 to add in the next couple of days. :D

Just ordered a couple of large Winter Spice candles from Avon, £6 each, reduced from £10, probably not the greatest, but they will be fine for the season and to get into spirit of things. But having said that, Avon stuff tends to be good. Ordered other bits to justify the £3.50 delivery.

OMO, love the way you are just charging through the savings, think you will be buying well ahead of planned date.

ETA: Oh dammit, missed the reduced delivery code,99pdel, ends tonight, so probably worth having a look
