Omo Can you recommend a facebook selling page? I'm selling the cooker that annoys me but it'll be good for someone else.

Will also be selling some lush bits would anyone here be interested? I can give you guys first pick

So today hasn't been the best day I woke up with a headache was sick a while later so went back to bed got up felt abit better had a bath got up popped to butches that was successful then tried to go to asda then the clutch cable/gear selector or something has gone on the car so £60 later we have been recovered home....

There is a Highwoods selling site that is quite good. I mainly use the Clacton one. A lot of people from Colchester use it as it has 13,000 members. The main Colchester site only has just over 1,000.
It is called Things for sale, wanted or free in CLACTON ON SEA
You have to be excepted by a member.
If you want to join, pm me your FB name and I'll add you as a friend so I can except you on to the site.
I worn you it is addictive. Once you sell one thing you start hunting for more to sell. :rotfl:

I have not spoken to BBF HD today. He was so tired when I spoke to him yesterday, I didn't want to bother him this evening. I will probably phone him in the morning.
Is was very strange today. I was so tired and didn't want to walk Mia. But then I thought that BBF didn't have a choice, and I felt selfish. :(
I thought about her the whole time I was out with the dog, and how we take things for granted. :(
I was supposed to be going out for lunch with her next Sat for my birthday. But I am just going to visit her now. It wouldn't feel right doing anything else.

I hope everyone else is ok. I have read all the posts, but it hasn't all sunk in.

Freespirit, so glad DropsofJupiter was able to help you with ex and tax problems - your post sounds so much more positive now.

My DH's aunt died a couple of weeks ago - he was very close to her and she's the last of her generation. The funeral is next week and we'll be going but have been looking at funeral flowers. I can believe how expensive they are and they aren't even very nice. Do you think it would be ok to choose a pretty hand tied bouquet instead or would that be disrespectful? We don't live locally to where she lived so we're thinking of getting the flowers and taking them with us on the day so we can see what they look like first. My DH would be devastated if we got there and our flowers weren't nice.

PEPPAPIG i feel more positive, you know when you feel out of your depth and have no one to turn to thats how i felt but now i feel so much better, thankyou, sorry to hear about your DH aunt, regarding the funeral flowers, i honestly dont think anyone will think bad about your choice of flowers, i have been to a few funerals and everyone chooses their own way of saying goodbye with different types of flowers, and i have never heard anyone say something horrible about peoples choices,

Evening all just popping in for a quick catch up. I've read all the posts but I am so tired to reply individually. My thoughts are with all the people who are having a tough time at the moment and that you all manage to stay strong and come out the other side.

Re the funeral flowers peppapig - I'm another one who prefers a nice hand tied bunch. I think they can be more tasteful and sometimes less is more as they say.

Dr is happy that the antibiotics are starting to kick in. He wants me back next week to check things though. Whilst I was there today he gave me the steroid injection in my heal - ouch. Hiopefully once that kicks in I won't be hobbling along as much. :D

My b-i-l suffers with Menieres DomRavioli so I know how debilitating it can be. Take care.

Just about having to prop eyelids open now so I had better leave it there for now.

Blue_eyed_girl- Glad the antibiotics are kicking in , fingers cross the heel eases soon too!
Omo- So sorry to hear about your BFF. I hope she makes a good recovery! Have you got any pictures of you and her you can take when you visit her? When I first woke up from the coma it kept me going seeing pictures of me and my loved ones because I was so confused and scared , it just reassured me. Just a thought , x x Big hugs sweetie. Hope Mias hotspot goes and she is okay too!

Tincan- Sorry for your loss. Fingers crossed a house comes up real soon and you can regain some form of normality back. Big hugs. x

Mrsgigglewick- Hope what ever decision you make regarding your dad leaves you at peace. It is a difficult situation and one I am also semi- familiar with , when my dad left his whole family cut me out including grandparents. Why , I don't know. However , it taught me who cares and those I hold so close to me. Do what you feel right , the letter/card sounds like a good idea. Big hugs. x

Freespirit- Hello sweetie. How are you?x
Nan- Hope your doing well nan , missing u .x
Feisty- Hope things are all good!

Thats my memory gone for now lol , so everyone else big hugs and I hope your all doing great , for those going through a rough time , here is a hug (I give good bear hugs so it may cheer you up for a minute or two ;) )

Sorry I haven't been about once. I have just registered for student finance to do a degree which starts in October I officially am a student once I find out if I was accepted for a student loan.

Also been trying to get my memory to work properly! I write everything down which helps unless I don't write enough down. For example next week in my calander it says "test" what test and where I have no clue!

Got a wedding to go to tomorrow , I am looking forward to it but at the same time I have had a few days of my head being rotten (roll on this appointment from refferall .) Anyway enough rambling!

I have 6 birthdays in the next 6 weeks! Aaaah. x

Good morning, sorry to read so many of us are having it extremely rough right now, for a variety of reasons, I have bribed the 'good fortune fairy' to give us all a wave of her wand, so hopefully, with that, and all the hugs and supportive vibes our thread is famous for we will get through it.
I have a wedding to go to today, too, JJ . My nephew is plighting his troth, (whatever a troth is, -- I imagine it is a cross between a troll and a goth but I could be well off the mark, and cannot begin to think what happens to something when it gets plighted!!! ouch).
I have my outfit bought in the 70% off sale and a terminator for my head as hats are out apparently. It is an all afternoon and evening bash, so I'm not sure how long either I or DSIL will last. I'm awake early, but not complaining as I have slept through till now. I think I will get the free lego offer with the paper, as all the grandnibs are into lego big style. Coffee calling, toast? bagel? dippy egg? Mrs I shambles off to stand confusedly in the kitchen xxxx

MrsI Hope you won't be walking round with Arnie on your head I think that might give you one hell of a headache :rotfl:

Some things are just never easy are they, so new cooker has arrived this morning minus a gas hose and a electric power cable...so will be off out soon to source those.
My friends husband has popped round to take a peek at the car and he thinks it is a slave cylinder.. so he has gone to get one of those so he can replace it which is very lovely of him I'm hoping he won't charge me too much for fitting it.

Got the cooker up on facebay and will pop the lush stuff up later too, and maybe some wax and clothes.... wait I think I see what OMO meant ;)

    Have a good day everyone

    Love and hugs xxx

I think most new ones come without them now cos you have to have a proper fitter connect them up. Ours cost £25 to be connected.

What is up with Amazon market place ? ordered 2 items one was an iPod holder when it came its a mobile phone holder and wont go anywhere near the iPod, the second a Christmas gift has come and it looks like its gone 5 rounds with Tyson ,the battery compartment is loose in the box and the box itself is so badly worn/damaged that I would never give it as a gift , im waiting to hear from the seller so I can return it.

Best wishes to all who are having a tough time at the moment:grouphug:
