Not having a good day today. My bf who had a heart attack last month had a stroke last night. It's not looking good. My dad had a stroke 15 years ago and she is much worse than he was. Her DH said she is not showing any signs of life at all. My dad was in a bad way but he made noises and moved his eyes. She isn't even doing that.

Then I went to collect a prescription for Mia as she has hotspot again, and the lady in front of me had just had her dog put to sleep. Normally things like that don't upset me, but I suddenly thought that I would be there one day. I sat in the car outside the vets and cried, which is not like me at all.

On a more positive note I sold 5 things on FB this morning. I had just bumped them when bf's DH phoned me.

So the house is still a mess, but I don't care at the moment. I have a spitting headache and now it looks like it's going rain.

Sorry to be on such a downer.

OMO I'm thinking of you. It is so difficult to know what to do or say when faced with that situation. It just reminds us of how precious life is as we never know what the next day will bring.
A good life is when you assume nothing, do more, need less, smile often, dream big, laugh a lot, and realise how blessed you are.

Oooh Linky sending healing vibes to your BFF and positive coping vibes to you my lovely. Let's hope the shut down is her bodies ways of healing and that there are positive signs very soon xxx

SFAM get you running out of challenges :) go girl. Have you baked anything interesting lately? I'm at a real standstill with DHs bloods being so erratic I've hardly done any. Did cupcakes for DNs little ones on Sunday and taught her how to ice them :) due to my "retirement". Giggled at the thought of you getting rid of your pond. We are rearranging our garden so DHs pond has to be moved. Well existing one filled and new one formed, fish are currently holidaying next door :) In my head I'd like a long slim raised pond but can't find a suitable preformed one so looks like it'll be a pond liner and brick wall. Trouble is we've not got a bricky neighbour ha, but there is an empty house so I suppose I could pop in a request ha xxx
b_e_g go girl! noticed another lb off, you are doing great :) Well done. xxx
Drops of Jupiter you too are doing a fab job :) I'm finding the 5:2 a doddle at the mo though only done three fast days! Lost 2lb last week so I will stick with it a little while longer :) I was really happy with SW but just stopped loosing so thought I'd try and kick start the last little bit xxx
Mandco bless your DS :( as Mrs I said it is a right of passage for a little fella but ouch. DGD1 was far less bothered about her broken arm than I was, they really are resilient aren't they. Hope he's not in any pain xxx
Mrs I I neeeeeed to hear about afternoon tea at the Ritz. Details please. Looks like you'll be off in June doesn't it, I'm sorry the China contingent are not returning :( Thought at least one of us may get our boy home :( Nev the shred sounds like he's doing a fab job :) Of course he's your fav at the mo, I toasted " better than bestie" again this weekend whilst enjoying the lovely weather sat on my garden bench :) It's become quite a habit and always makes me smile. Hope fav cous got on ok today xxx
Mrs M sending waves! hoping you are managing your Mrs M moments xxx

Well ordered new bed today, was supposed to wait till we come back from hols but interest free at Argos so bite the bullet. Like crazy loons we braved ikea on bank holiday Monday, took two cars and three families, had such a giggle and managed to get headboard.
