We have the vets at 2.30 tomorrow.
I think it is Hot Spot, but I'm not sure. It looks very sore. :(
The more hair I cut away the bigger it seems to get. :(
It was only the size of a thumb nail on Saturday. Now it's the size of a cup. :(

Oh OMO poor Mia i have never heard of that, i hope the vet can sort it tomorrow, it sounds awful

got a letter from the school today saying they are introducing new compulsory pe kit as it will make a important contribution to the school yeah a cash one as its a whopping £75  for them to do 1 lesson wk :mad: I begrudge paying the huge mark on on their main uniform just because it has the school logo on it but at least they get the use out of it
weather is dire and the kids are bored gonna be a long 2 wks

That is awful MANDCO what they also dont think of are the mums of twins, when i had to deck my twins out it was astronomical paying double for everything

Gosh-it's been weeks since I checked in last. I'm so sorry! Hope you're all behaving...;)
I had an email from Westin Gourmet and the recipe was on there. Probably very similar, though.
Must start thinking about a meal for St Georges day soon. Pie and mash, maybe?
As long as there's no rush! :D Not sure when I'll get the hang of reading a pattern. I always seem to come unstuck.
Darn! Missed this offer. Could've been very useful for the men I have to buy for. Never mind. Glad you got a bargain.
Betsie2010-A camper van! How cool. My mum keeps saying she wants one, but the cost of fuel puts her off. It must be great to be able to go away for the weekend and not worry about hotels or B&Bs.
Spendless-I'm so sorry to hear about everything you & your family have been going through. Sending hugs as it sounds like you could do with some. :grouphug:
OMO-Hope Mia is ok. It's horrible when pets get ill because you can't explain to them that you're trying to help them.
Went to the theatre on Saturday to see Three Sisters (Chekov), which was a bit depressing, but very well acted. Lovely meal before in a pub down the road, washed down with coconut beer (odd, sweet, but not too bad).
Weekend in Gloucester was ok. My Auntie drove me nuts, but had a nice night out with my pregnant friend, her fiance and mum. On Sunday went for a drive with Mum to Shrewsbury. Bought a nice green summer jacket for £6! :T

Hello RUTHHONEY yes im doing steak and kidney pie for st georges day :D mmm coconut beer sounds lovely :)

NEWTHRIFT those scarves are lovely you clever thing :)
KAYMUMOF3 i will look out for them thanks

Oh forgot to say earlier, how sad is it about Peaches Geldof, it has really upset me, she was born within days of my DD1, she was always talking about her babies on twitter, and sounded a really lovely mum, i hope there is nothing untoward about her death, she was so young RIP Peaches x

morning, feel a bit disorientated, got woken up by an automated phone call at 5 30 am about a booking for which the CC was declined. Turns out it was for DDil who was trying to book a flight. 3 different continents, 3 time zones, an out of date card, an operative whos accent was so thick it was difficult to understand a word and the urgency underlying the need for the flight has left me exhausted for the rest of the day!
DSIL is coming for a visit today, 2 nighter, great for catch up, so will have to clean up a bit and bake, no, buy a cake! (hums a little ditty, 'if I knew you were comin' l'd have baked a cake').
The idea of a £75 pe kit is obscene. If the school wants such a thing then they should fund it. They say that uniform stops the 'richer kids' wearing designer stuff that the others cant afford, then slap their own designer stuff out and charge for it. Would be better if they said get supermarket stuff in these colours and buy a badge to iron/stich/glue on. and make a donation to a favourite charity. Good done all round. Mrs I climbs down reluctantly from her soapbox and makes herself a cup of coffee.

Wow! They look fantastic, so snuggly and warm :) I may have to give this arm knitting a go :)

It's awful - all sorts of speculation going on about suicide. I just can't see her doing that to her wee bairns, especially after she went through losing her mum young herself :(

Well off to the bank today to get depressed about how much they will lend for a mortgage - I don't think it will even be enough for a studio flat :( Sorting the flat has come to a complete stand still :( We have reached the stage where I can't proceed until we have offsite storage secured (£80 quote for big yellow etc for 2 months, or purchase a shed to put up at parents - they will want rent etc) and my work room has turned into a dumping ground, which is quickly becoming quite depressing.

Well my wonderful friends. Oh how I've missed you. So sorry for disappearing again. Blooming life getting in the way! I've not read back yet thought I'd say hello first. Thanks to all who've kept me going through this tricky time, with pm, txt or emails you will never know how much this means to me. You are superstars each and everyone of you. I'm blessed to have so many wonderful people in my corner xxx

In the house of Nan I'm surviving :) Still spinning plates in the air and adjusting. DH (my hero) is adjusting and thankfully now having good days :) Linky you would be in panic mode if you could see the state of my house. Most definitely a "work in progress"! I think last time I was here I was ready to start stripping the walls in the bedroom in preparation. Well I reckon woodchip was the invention of the devil. Oh my goodness, I know I'd made no changes to the room in the almost 27 yrs we've lived here so can't really complain. But the walls underneath are shocking :( The best wall as you can guess is the one that'll be hidden by the sliding robes ha. I'm trying not to be so precious about the walls and hopefully with polifilla and a little sanding I will get away with it. My wonderful band of merry helpers have almost built the wardrobes, huge task of building the frame, levelling cutting into the ceiling etc etc. I'm over the moon with how it's going to look. And even more delighted that I'm about to get that much closer to my dream of "a place for everything and everything in its place" Photos to follow obviously xxx

My band of merry helpers have an indoor and outdoor project running at the same time! Bless them. They've been removing the awful hedge ready to fence and give DH a garden to enjoy with minimal effort :) To save cash mse style they've been filling neighbours (many) recycling bins each week and are really getting on with it. Another neighbour is going to sort hiring a mini jcb thing to help level the ground and then it'll be woo hoo Design time :) xxx

Well coffee time, this mornings fun is about to begin :) Supervising the building of the flat packs for the wardrobe interior. I'm excited. Will try and catch up throughout the day.
Hugs to you all and wishing you all a Mrs M Moment xxx

    morning all
sun is shining which i think makes us all feel at least a little better.

such sad news about peaches, those poor boys so young that they wont really remember her when they are grown but she appears to have poured lots of love and proud moments with them on social media so they will at least have the proof there that she was a very loving doting mother. i hate the way people have speculated and seem to be second guessing because she had posted a photo of her as a baby with her mum. i hope there was nothing sinister in her death but however it happened it is incredibly sad. I feel so sorry for families who have to deal with things like this so publicly, they are normal families and people with feelings like everyone else but because they live in the media goldfish bowl everything is put under the microscope and shared with the world while being analyzed and speculated over. so sad.
