popped into primarni today as dd needed a red top for a sports relief thing they are doing at school and they had some of the cosy socks 2pk black/red(wine/burgandy) with silver glittery effect for £1 so picked up a couple and put the red ones away for xmas

JJ i'm sure your mum will be thrilled with her gifts though no doubt just having you around is what she loves most
fiesty glad to hear dh is home and hope his symptoms have settled down.
mrsinvisible congrats to your friend & dgs :T hope your taking some me time and feel better soon
    omo great quotes as usual
nanamia good to hear dh blood sugars are coming down they can be so hard to get balanced. hope you are taking care of yourself too.
mrsgigglewick amazing make as usual ds recognised it as callie.hope things get sorted with the tutor soon if not def send in a letter of complaint. dd has a teacher that constantly seemed to find fault with her even though she doesnt do anything wrong  things do seemed to have settled since I warned the school that if it continued I would be making a formal complaint.

apologies to those I've missed but my post keeps getting deleted

Freespirit slow downnnnnn :) we don't want you burning out an ending up in bed for a week! DDs birthday/Mother's Day treat sounded wonderful. But you know I need details, ha yep I'm mithering. I am with you tho shocked at the price list. It sounds like a wonderful evening tho :) I'm glad you've had a catch up day today :) I hope you mentioned in today's list what a valuable member of our virtual family you are. I'd be lost without you :) xxx
I'm finding this new night time routine tricky, don't get the peace to pop on here the same :( need to adjust :)
Started the mammoth task of room clearing, nibbling away in 15 min bursts.
DHs blood sugars have today started to come down so hopefully the worst is now over :)
Going to see if I can find Feistys organising on Pintrest so I could be gone some time :) Have to stop myself looking at garden ideas. Night night xxx

Aww NANAMIA you say such lovely things, thankyou :) ooh what sort of details do you want?? :D The food? :D That is such great news DHs blood sugars are coming down, what is your new night time routine? Well done on starting the room clearing, little bursts are fab you dont realise how much you get done by doing it that way. Oh i looked at my garden today it is awful, really gone to pot, i have not the knowledge or the energy but i need to do something about it this year.

begI had the injections in my heels last week at the same time as my op as I have had plantar faciatis for approx 2 years. The pain from walking was really bad, like walking on hot coals.
The injections weren't the best experience ever, but I was prepared to put up with the pain if it cured my heel pain. However, I am not sure it has. I haven't really walked anywhere for 1 week, as I'm not supposed to, but I think the pain is still there.
If so I'm going back to the sports physio because he seemed to be the only one who gave decent advice and exercises. I too have the insoles and wear berkinstocks all summer. It really drags you down though :(

Oh BETSIE i do hope the injections have worked, it sounds so painful

    OMO thankyou for todays quote

  • Thank you for my birthday wishes, I had a great day. Didn't do much (as we're off on our nig holiday soon) had lunch out at wagamama's with DH, friends popped round during the day and DD was sick on the car on the way back from school she was sick again during the night and has high temperature too. Still fast asleep, so no school for her today. Hope she just picked up a 24 hr bug and will be back to her normal self very soon. Hate it when she's poorly.
Not read back so don't know what I've missed but big hugs to those who need them and hope everyone is doing well. The sun is trying to come out so will get up & get on with some washing.
    Have a good day everyone!

Morning, glad you had a nice birthday, Craftymummy.
Well I have risked putting the washing out, used a pound of pegs, so I hope it stays put.
Feisty, that is awful, rotten after only 5 years? I agree that CBA is beneficial, too. Mr F. needs to eat properly, if he is reluctant to, tell him Mrs I will be round to nag him, and he doesn't want that!
I hope you get the things you need from the car boot sales, they can be such treasure troves.
Freespirit, thank you, and look after yourself, priming shelves, indeed, you only do that when it is a pleasure, not a chore!
Dammit the rain has won, so the washing is back indoors.
Nanamia glad your right arms' BS are coming down, steady on, both of you.
My list of 'to-do's' is a yard long and still growing, not big things but time consuming, so it is tick list and kitchen timer day, play nice and have a hugxxxxxx
