i have a similar thought re housework, if my house is beautifully tidy no one visits, if i have been busy doing other stuff and its a mess you can bet your boots everyone pays a visit.

That happens a lot in my house as well. :D

You are all welcome to visit provided you don't expect a show home. :rotfl:

Feisty my pleasure! we've got to stick together and pull them through! kicking and screaming if necessary :) DH is being particularly 'challenging' at the mo haha. Like Mrs I DGS "I've got the measure of it now and I'll finish it tomorrow" haha xxx
b_e_g aww my lovely! I'm not surprised you've had a tough few months it's bound to have taken it's tole :( Please be kind to yourself :) Your anniversary treat sounds ideal, I hope you and DH manage to enjoy the break and recharge your batteries. We you trailing the insoles today? How did it go? xxx
Betsie glad the op went well :) I bet your Mum is enjoying spoiling you, you are certainly paying for your keep with all the bargains you are sourcing. Very mse xxx
Linky weirdly I knew exactly what you meant haha! that might just be me :) xxx
Mrs M I've actually got out of bed because of the blinking garden thoughts running through my brain. Think I need you and Mrs I to pop over and advise! The robin observation was lovely to read. And yep I'm also in the gang, nobody visits when I'm tidy! I'm with you 3fortheholidays take me as you find me or don't ! Love google (DH would tell you) I'm addicted it's amazing what you can find xxx
Newthrift my thoughts exactly for the 'shaped' items. The hen party are going to a spa in Chester so not really tacky but I'm not going (managed to wriggle out of it) so I won't be embarrassed. The allotment sounds like hard work to me xxx
Freespirit slow downnnnnn :) we don't want you burning out an ending up in bed for a week! DDs birthday/Mother's Day treat sounded wonderful. But you know I need details, ha yep I'm mithering. I am with you tho shocked at the price list. It sounds like a wonderful evening tho :) I'm glad you've had a catch up day today :) I hope you mentioned in today's list what a valuable member of our virtual family you are. I'd be lost without you :) xxx
Mrs I aww my lovely who has been over doing it :( Hope you are starting to pick up and are managing to look after yourself. What a clever friend you've got, how well did she do :) I hope she's feeling very proud of herself. And DGS it seems the awards are catching. Bless him that's such an achievement I hope he's blooming proud of himself too, is he in for a Nan treat? xxx
Ruth can I put in an order for tiny snowflakes please? No pressure xxx
Festive Princess you never waffle :) Yep I'm certainly following your wise words and shared them with Feisty and I'm enjoying ticking things off when they're done :) Your Mums gifts although they sound wonderful are nothing compared with her having you home where you belong. Although she certainly does deserve to be spoilt rotten :) xxx
Msgigglewick sending coping vibes! you seem to have so many plates spinning at the mo. I'm glad you've found a little me time :) I love the photos, what a cutie is she :) Hope DD gets the apology she deserves tomorrow and that just writing your letter made you feel empowered, whether you decide to post is up to you and DH. We are always here if you need to rant xxx

I'm finding this new night time routine tricky, don't get the peace to pop on here the same :( need to adjust :)
Started the mammoth task of room clearing, nibbling away in 15 min bursts.
DHs blood sugars have today started to come down so hopefully the worst is now over :)
Going to see if I can find Feistys organising on Pintrest so I could be gone some time :) Have to stop myself looking at garden ideas. Night night xxx

Oooo Nic, can I ask if it was easy to get inspected by the local council for your food prep certificate? I do love baking, and it is something I have always pondered about, but was told that it can be a bit difficult getting the council to sign off as you need separate hand wash, fridge etc.

Thanks for the tip Nana! I feel your pain, I'm only on day 7 and everything is mounting up and I just want to dive in and get it all sorted - plus I started a pinterest board for organising the home and it's really calling to me ;)

Hi hun, the hardest part was getting a hold of them in the first place to come out lol. I got in touch with the Environmental health team at my council and eventually the passed me on to Food safety.
They were just interested in whether I had pets, how I would store items, they were happy with the hand washing. I also need to record every time I make anything. They had a quick look, and were happy with the cleanliness etc. I also needed to show a food hygiene certificate which I had thankfully just did recently with the council and my other job .
Thankfully as the items I'm making are made to a very high temp It easier to store and know it is cooked properly.

begI had the injections in my heels last week at the same time as my op as I have had plantar faciatis for approx 2 years. The pain from walking was really bad, like walking on hot coals.
The injections weren't the best experience ever, but I was prepared to put up with the pain if it cured my heel pain. However, I am not sure it has. I haven't really walked anywhere for 1 week, as I'm not supposed to, but I think the pain is still there.
If so I'm going back to the sports physio because he seemed to be the only one who gave decent advice and exercises. I too have the insoles and wear berkinstocks all summer. It really drags you down though :(

    Good afternoon lovelies

OMO loving those quotes - they never fail to raise a smile :)

Nana, I'm so glad I have you to buddy up with :D Mine was refusing to eat Monday (apparently he wasn't hungry and just ate an orange all day) after a mini (well maybe big) explosion from me, he is now back to eating properly.

Nic thanks for the tips my lovely - I'm not sure if it would be ideal with the dogs at the moment, but definitely food for thought :)

JJ so glad your back in daily, your Mum will love your mothers day treat, but as the other lovelies have said, she will love having you home even more!

The builders have finally come round to sort out the mold (the balcony is completely rotten underneath - shocking as it wasn't built until late 2009) so once complete we can start getting the flat ready to sell! I am really looking forward to the project, but after trawling 99p store, poundland and aldi I was getting disheartened that there wasn't anything I needed (and that aldi is actually quite expensive) but I am going to re-organize and decorate (only minor finishing touches to dress it for buyers) by using the car boot sales :D
