Smile moment for today: I just got a pm saying I've won the Paris travel guide and should receive it in 2-3 weeks!! :j
Hopefully it's 2 not 3, or I could end up getting back from my trip and finding it on my doorstep!

Good afternoon. Quick question it's DD's 4th birthday next month and she's having a Doc McStuffins party. I am going to get some cheap plasters and bandages and ask the children to bring a toy each to "Make Better". Can anyone think of anything else I could get? Was thinking maybe a cheap toy doctors bag and they can share the tools out of it.
Congratulations on your win Arthien.

Could you maybe get the kids some cheap white 'doctor coats' (aka a bloke's old work shirt)? Even if it's one or two to share while they're being the doctor, that might be fun. You could paint a big red cross or something on the back to show that it's the doctor's special coat, and they can then use the tools (stethoscope etc) to make teddy better.
ETA: just spotted these on Amazon: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Childs-Doctors-Medical-Great-Role/dp/B005PX2G6S/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1391005295&sr=8-2&keywords=toy+doctor for the cheap option, or http://www.amazon.co.uk/Peterkin-4407-Medical-Carrycase/dp/B000RPDPSC/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1391005404&sr=8-1&keywords=toy+doctor+set because it's got a cool case and still way under a tenner
ETA 2: The first link was £3.22 when I found it a minute ago, now it's suddenly £4.20, no doubt because some computer somewhere saw me looking at it! What a cheek!0 -

Well, I haven't found much inspiration for bessies 40th birthday but have found a fab idea for another friend's 40th gift.
This bag: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Chocoholic-Since-1974-Birthday-Shoulder/dp/B00CD2VDZO/ref=sr_1_52?ie=UTF8&qid=1390927656&sr=8-52&keywords=40th+birthday
filled with choccie goodies and choccie smellies. Well not too filled, I want to send it in the post as we won't get to see her until after her birthday.0
