    Good Morning.

Ds has just said he can't wait until he's 23. 'Why ?' I asked.
'Because then Fingers will be 3, and he might realise I am not watching cartoons because I want to watch them. And he might notice my hair is attached to my head !' :rotfl:

Well in other news in the Nan house, I was in such a tizzy yesterday. I didn't know if I was coming or going! DD works Fridays and as you know DGD2 has started school. Typically though first few weeks in nursery DGD2 has picked up everything going germ wise and really wasn't well so she came to spend the day with us (woo hoo Ssshhh don't tell DD but we had a lovely day) and today I managed to "borrow" her for a couple of hours too.

Is anybody else with voda£one? Oh my goodness I was beside myself couldn't work out what was wrong and when I finally did get through to them they kindly told me it was all over the internet/tv etc. it's been dodgy today too :( I hadn't realised how addicted I was even though DH points it out daily haha xxx

Ruth just finished Cottage by the Sea thoroughly enjoyed it xxx

    Just lost my post!
Have added that book to my list to read. Just finished Amelia Grey's Fireside Dreams, which was a nice easy read. Starting The Charm Bracelet by Melissa Hill now.

Upstairs neighbours are driving me nuts with all the noise! Can't even complain to noise team as the website is down, so I don't know the number or opening times. Why they have to let their brats run around constantly I don't know! Take them out to park if they need to run about. Think I might have to go out. Getting a headache here. Sigh. Oh, to win the lottery and live in a house with no neighbours...

OMO - your DS is just the best antidote to a crappy day :) Well that and chocolate quotes :D

Why do weekends always seem to go so fast? Feels like I haven't done anything and it's almost Monday again :( Will have to start my studying again next week now I have got my results so making the most of the last few days of freedom. I know it will be worth it but it's still hard work lol

good morning, well it is when I start writing, but good afternoon by the time I post it.
Just finished skyping, DGS1 was here too, so it was the 3 nibs skyping really, what fun!.
That chocolate quote is simply the best, OMO, love it. Your DS cracks me up with his faultless logic, and dry humour. FM is a lucky little soul to be part of you all.
In an hour my friends 4 yr old is coming for the afternoon while mummy is working. She will have her Sunday dinner with me when she comes to pick him up, so I have a good reason to cook one.
Oooo berore I forget, (lol) boast, boast, during my DS1's firm's Chinese New Year dinner last week, he was presented with the International Friendship Award. Modest applause and bowing.
    Hugs to everyone, xxx
  • Just popping in for a quick catch up before tacking some very necessary jobs and to thank you all for your lovely words of support.

Belated birthday wishes Betsie 2010. Hope you had a lovely day.

    Love all the chocolate quotes.

Hope your tube sorts itself out JJ. That sounds a bit strange doesn't it - but you know what I mean.

Do you post in the Cross Stitch Cafe betasam. I'm sure they would love to see pics of your masterpieces over there. They are really nosey - not like me you understand :D Good luck with the Staffy pic.

Congrats to DS1 mrsinvisible on his award. :T

    Have a lovely Sunday everyone,

I have downloaded a free fireplace app. Am sitting here with a roaring fire on the TV. Typically it's quite nice outside. But it will be lovely in the bad weather or Christmas morning.

FM has finally gone to sleep, only he is on my lap so I can't move. But the silence is so nice. Mia is asleep in the hall, ds is at football and dd is at a friends.

Am going to have a look for today's quote while I can. :D

    Morning all,
Ive made a start on DD's Easter hamper Ive ordered her series 1-3 of Catherine Tate's nan off Amazon for £11 and picked up some chocolate chicks and mini eggs.

I too have started my Easter shopping. Co-op has boxes of 6 creme eggs for half price at £1.50 and those egg boxes with 4 eggs and a spoon for half price at £2. I've had to get extra creme eggs as my DS is a fiend for them :p
