They seem to have fixed the store delivery problem - unless I was ordering things that didn't upset their system
I can cook and sew, make flowers grow.0 -

I got a scarf and gloves set in store today for £4 from £12. Most things were not very big reductions though, generally not very impressed.0

Still seems to be rather a lot left of the same gifts (all the tat) - I wasn't very impressed with the M&S gift range this year, the only real decent stuff was from the beauty ranges which they stock anyway - like the extracts & morrocan range & the branded gifts such as Crabtree & Evelyn & Roger & Gallet.
My opinion but they'll have to reduce the gifts that are left by a lot more to shift that stock!! I think also a they had so many great deals on before Christmas with 50% off that a lot of people bought them then so aren't bothered now.
Can usually get some nice clothes at the end of the sale though at a good price - there were still rails & rails left when I went in y'day but it's kinda pot luck as to if they have your size left.0 -
I've heard that M&S will be re-vamping their website sometime this year since the long contract they (short sightedly) signed with the current provider runs out.0

I've found the best place to get M&S bargains is actually in Oxfam. My local one seems to get loads of new M&S stuff still with its tags on which it sells at bargain prices e.g. bras and shapewear 2.99 kids pyjamas 99p, kids socks and underwear 3 for 99p and clothes for less than £5. Obviously it's pot luck what they get in, but if you're passing an oxfam its worth a look.0

I believe you're correct. Their current provider is Amazon and M&S have reportedly decided to bring their online operation back in-house. It's expected to go live during the first quarter of this year.0 -

Its probably the stuff people buy in sales to give as gifts just because it is cheap rather than because it is the perfect gift for a specified person- the generic non specific-wil do for someone gifts- that no-one wants and so when they get them so they regift or give to charity. Or items that we buy just because they are cheap- we dont want them or need them but we cant miss that bargain.June challenge £100 a day £3161.63 plus £350 vouchers plus £108.37 food/shopping saving
July challenge £50 a day. £ 1682.50/1550
October challenge £100 a day. £385/£31000 -
No its all stuff that comes direct from M&S, not donations from ordinary folk.0

M&S support Oxfam - don't forget they have the shwop thingy & Oxfam used to give the £5 voucher when you took M&S clothes in to them.
It'll be end of line donations that they haven't sold. It's not just M&S that do this either. I remember being in an Oxfam a couple of years back and they had got loads of Boots gift wrap - the man behind the counter said they had brought it into them as a donotion.0
