This (from email) might be helpful if ordering online. Dreadful spelling and grammar, but you get the drift. So, just order with home delivery and then ask for refund.
"Thanks for your email about placing an order from our website. I'm sorry you've been unable to select store collection.
We are currently upgrading our warehouses and this is effecting items being delivery to store. Certain items can not be delivered to store and an error message will say select home delivery. They're is a delivery charge for home delivery, but if you email us the order number we'll refund or removed it from the order.
I've tried to amend the delivery charge, but as the order has been passed to our delivery team I'm unable to.
I'll refund your delivery charge of £3.50 when your order is despatched. This will show on your account in a further 3-5 working days as a credit from M&S e-commerce.~"
They really need to get this sorted.“Rain drops are not the ones who bring the clouds.”0

I am so annoyed as I was unable to select the store collection option and half of my order went OOS when I was trying different combinations and even posted on their FB page as well as queuing on the phone for 10 min. Eventually, I managed to place my partial order on a mobile device. I could have done the home delivery route if I knew about it earlier. 0 0

Do you work for M and S gooddeal123?
I don't ask a lot from on line sales.
My main requirements would be that the site is "live" so stock levels are accurate and only available stock is shown and if you place an order, that the order will be fulfilled and not cancelled a week or so later once all the stock of that item in store has been sold.
The option to collect in store to avoid delivery charges.
If a courier service is used, that they are honest and do not say they have tried to deliver an item, when they have not.
Don't think any of these are too much to ask.0

I was pleased to get some of these little Alice & Eliza lip balms from £3 to £1. Some more bargain gifts for later in the year!

i'm expecting them to go bust! sadly
the clothes are all now for anorexics or 16 yr old girls and all the clothes are shown on models with stick thin legs who look starved and about 12 - sadly m and s are losing their regular clothes buyers in droves! they just refuse to listen to feedback. they keep surveying female customers and totally ignoring the results! m ans s seems to be turning into primark with huge price tags. rant over!0

Emailed them yesterday asking for refund re postage as I couldnt get delivery to store and they have flatly refused. When I get the £14 worth of goods I will return to shop get a refund and refund for postage . Shot themselves in the foot again.0

Just my opinion but people need to get a grip. You can't have everything for nothing. Yesterday they had lots of bargains for under three pounds which make excellent gifts to put away but there are still so many people moaning that they can't have it delivered for free. Nobody is forced to order from them. A couple of weeks ago they accidentally sold gift sets for free and most of the orders were honoured! I love the marks and spencer sales and if I get a bargain excellent but its not the end of the world and really not worth stamping your feet over.0
