does it definately include checked luggage as I am on AA from LAX to LAS and thought I'd have to pay $25 per leg per bag, so may as well get a nicer seat. But the blurb doesn't seem to say it includes any luggage allowance.

I don't think Main Cabin Extra includes extra luggage, no...when we bought our tickets we choose one of the options that included both (checked bag and extra legroom - think it was called Choice Essential when we booked - fare was higher than the basic fare). Based on the website I think that the Main Cabin Extra is only for extra legroom seats.

It may be that we chose the Choice Essential at the time of booking (as we knew we would have at least one bag each) and then immediately opted for the extra legroom seats and booked those then and there and that is why I thought the two were bundled together.

Pebbles could you give me an idea of how cool it is at night now please??
I have looked at next weeks weather forecast and it looks to be nice and warm in the day but from memory when we have been before in November it was cold at night.I am trying to pack clothes accordingly!!Thanks.

Really enjoyed the report ferf, thanks for posting.

Particularly enjoyed the gambling part. Slots are our weakness as well. We are being not very MSE and got a total budget of $5k for food, drinks, shows and gambling. As opposed to days full of min betting we will be doing a few non-gambling related activities and hovering between $1.20 and max bet to see if we can hit any better wins. Think our best hit on minimum bet was about $150 last trip and we played loads. Your pic and video has inspired me. Someone on the SlotFanatics forum posted a $22k progressive hit on a Buffalo game last week on a 0.75c bet so these things are possible!

Looking forward to playing for the first time:

    Lunaris (Colossal Reels game)
    The Walking Dead
    Beetlejuice
    Willy Wonka
    Willy Wonka 3 Reel

And returning to our favourite Colossal Reel games that we have managed to play a bit of online at home. Lil Red, Spartacus, Forbidden Dragons etc.

If you ask the Bellagio Concierge they will give you a schedule of the fountain songs. :) There's a website somewhere that published them too.

Just bear in mind there are no pictures of the various times we played max bet and lost it in a flash. :)

We normally stick to around $1/spin in most cases but do have some occasions we go as high as $3 (mainly me on Blazing 7s which is normally quite friendly to me but was not even a little friendly to me this trip).

Although our 3rd highest win ever ($1k) was on a $1 5-line WOF and we spun and got the 1000.

We normally do our higher stakes betting late in the day when we have had a good day and feel we have some to offer up to the gambling gods...more often than not the gambling gods take it without so much as a thank you.

I'm here now and it's fine at night, not cold at all, I just wear a very light cotton cardigan but I wear this all day because of the air con in the casinos.

It's getting hotter as this week goes on which I'm looking forward to. :D

Re wins at the slots, best win so far has been $671 on some random progressive which dropped in on my machine, I was playing 60cents.

I've also won a couple of over $250 wins on various machines including Titanic, Old WOZ, Cats, Hangover playing either lowest or next up bet.

My play has been mainly in Silver Sevens, Suncoast Red Rock casino and Sams town so far, we've only been to the strip once but will be heading that way when we stay at Orleans and Ballys.

    We've got over a week to go so we're going steady...isn :o

Off to Valley of Fire today.

Had to laugh at your choice of machines, we are not lucky on slots but the ones we have had the worst luck on are in your list.

    Willy Wonka

    Walking dead

and any colossal reel game we tried but particularly Spartacus

Hahaha brilliant. Think that says it all about gambling and slots in particular.

If it goes pear shaped and by end of day two my budget has been obliterated by higher stakes I'll go back to 40/80c bets and just play what we like for fun.

Sorry I missed your post earlier, Hovis.
Having been here a while, we are finding it quite chilly in the evenings. Definitely light jacket weather. Tony had his thick sweatshirt hoody on last night, but that would have been too much for me.
