  • I've just booked mine for next year going 18th July into LA and back from Vegas 3 weeks later and they were about this price. Managed to save a little bit with virgin miles. Looks like that's the price to pay for the school holidays I'm afraid.
  • Virgin have a reward sale on so if you have enough miles you only pay taxes. Lon-Vegas 2/8 return 17/8 is app 64 000miles + £435 for 2 people.

Have there been posts deleted from this thread in the past 24 hours?

There was a post from Lesley, one from Duchy and one from another member. I replied and now I can't see any of the posts.

I'm a bit reluctant to post again if posts are randomly deleted.

There does seem to be a load of posts missing - any idea why? If it's because the posters asked then fair enough but otherwise it's a bit weird?!

Has anyone ordered any Groupons for Las Vegas recently ?

Having ordered three buffets last year with no issues, I just tried ordering but I get an error message where they are looking for a state/province to be put in against my UK address and there is no option for outside US or Canada - I did try Nevada with no success unfortunately.

    Thanks....

yes we had the same and some others too..we put in NV and 89109 for the zip code and it went through...and then we got the potential fraud call from our CC which we do every single time we buy a US Groupon.
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

sadness is finding out via Groupon that not one but two of your all-time favourite bands are playing a festival in Vegas the weekend immediately before you arrive...that sadness is compounded by the fact that they are both on the bill the same day.

I'm trying to console myself that it's a wine / music festival, of all things...and I don't like wine.

Thanks Ferf, I'll try that now as Le Village at the Paris is back on Groupon. We went twice last year and enjoyed the surroundings and food.

Out of interest who are the bands ?

PS Buffet now booked - as yet no call from CC.
  • We also buy groupons and also living social can be good. 89109 also works for us but our credit card company don't bother about it. It's not a bad thing for tgem to check for potential fraud though.

We were at vegas the show yesterday and also on high roller with living social deals. Enjoyed both.
  • Lesley, glad you enjoyed Vegas, the show. We enjoy that show almost every trip, sad, I know, but there are slight differences depending on the day of the week you go. A friend of ours who lives in SF goes every trip.

I've not had as much use out of Living Social, will have to try it again.

Less than 7 days to go and I'm not ready! Will start to seriously panic if I'm in the same state on Saturday.
  • There's not as much on Living Social but it's a bit different so worth a look.

We're hoping to do caesars buffet tonight with our points from Social Rewards then another Groupon - vegas live comedy at PH. Might also try westin casino happy hour gaming. I'm thinking you might have gone there from Tuscany?

Also walked to wynn buffet for breakfast via Howard Hughes Blvd, was quite a pleasant route, might even try jogging it if I can get up before it starts to warm up. Was too warm at 830 today. Hopefully these storms stay away.

You will be on the countdown :j
